As if Portland needed it, there is another drug dealing doctor in town. Dr Walker.
He's been open 2 days, and he hasn't even got a sign on his office yet he's got druggies traveling a hundred miles to get him to write their drugs for them so they can travel back to their own towns and sell them.
The guy is arrogant and brazen.
How do you open a new office, with no sign, and have hoards of people show up on opening day from miles and miles away?
I hope they send his a$$ straight to prison.

These are some of the many 'patients' that were busted leaving this 'caring''doctor's unmarked office:

A routine traffic stop resulted in 31 charges for possession of prescription drugs for resale for five people, ages 23-59.

Robert Hall, 35, Charles Powell, 59, Jason Powell, 33, Anthony James, 27, and Meagan Johnson, 23, all of Kentucky, each face six charges for having controlled drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 2 in Portland.

At 4 p.m., Portland police stopped a van with a driver who was not wearing a seatbelt. Officers spoke with the driver Jason Powell and the front passenger Robert Hall, who gave different reasons for being in Portland. Police got consent to search the van from the driver and the vehicle owner Charles Powell, who then began shifting in his seat and a pill fell into the floorboard.

Officials of the 18th Judicial District Drug task Force of Sumner County, who had meanwhile joined the investigation, soon learned the van was missing two other occupants, who were later located in a parking lot and identified as Anthony James and Meagan Johnson. Once at the police department, Johnson consented to a search, and investigators found inside her purse six Carisoprodol pills she said she got from her mother as a sleep aid.

During search of the van, officials found another 38 pills . Investigators also discovered paperwork showing the occupants had also been in Kentucky, Georgia, Florida and Michigan receiving treatment from various doctors and clinics.

All five remain in jail on $100,000 bond each. They are scheduled to appear before Sumner County General Sessions Judge Jim Hunter on Sept. 28.

I wonder how long it's gonna take them to 'flip' on their supplier???

With the cops pulling over EVERYONE WHO LEFT HIS OFFICE, I don't think he's overblowing anything. I think the cops are trying like hell to protect this town. It don't sound like anything good at all is going on down there.

Well, I HEAR they came in your place armed to the teeth and packing search warrents, and you were nowhere to be found! STIll haven't found you, but they did find your buddy Hill and shut him down.

So, you quit parking at the Dollar store and taking your 'customers' in the back door? Yeah, thats legitimate!

Slither back to your hole and stay there. Keep your imported filth there with you, but keep a light on because hounds are on your tail.

Business as usual is OVER dealer!

I don't even know why I'm wasting my time...You're probably already out of the state...If you're that smart.
You people are ridiculous

Although this post is rather old, I'm just seeing it and I'm pretty irritated about seeing all of these posts. Things have gotten more serious since this all started out, but those of you who decided to post things without knowing the facts. First of all, this is a man who doesn't deserve to be talked down upon. He had many patients who had been going to him for years. Many of which were close to him and his family. He is a family man, and he took care of people. Perhaps that is why this all went down. How dare you talk so negatively about him when you have not met him. Were mistakes made? Yes. Does that give you the right to judge him? NO. He was not, is not, and never will be the drug lord that you describe here so get your facts straight before you decide that you are God and that you have the ability to judge people for mistakes. The day that you make zero mistakes is the day that you have the ability to make those judgements. Do you know the back story? NO. I know you don't, because if you did you would apologize for the words that you have posted here and you'd have a bit of understanding for what has happened. I am in no way condoning any of the wrong doings that occurred, but there are extenuating circumstances that occurred years before you made your initial post. And before you ask, NO I'm not a druggie and NO I don't come from "miles around" to get drugs from him. I am backing up a great man who doesn't deserve for his name to be destroyed how everyone is doing. Please I beg you get your facts COMPLETELY straight and find out the entire story before you rant and rave about something that you are ignorant a about.

I read about it in the Tennesseean last week.
I looked for the story at the Tn website.
Part of it is about a nurse in Hendersonville gettign arrested too.
Here it is.

Walker, a family practice physician, has offices in Portland, White House, Springfield and Lebanon. Police raided his house and offices and found he had written several prescriptions for his wife and children for Tussionex cough syrup, which contains hydrocodone, a pain narcotic.
Walker had written a lot of the prescriptions in his son’s name. Police say he had the prescriptions filled at various pharmacies. According to one pharmacist, the physician said he was picking up and paying for his son’s medication because his son was unemployed, broke and had no insurance. His son is actually serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Investigators say his son was not involved.
“He was getting the medication for himself, for personal use, and for other people,” said Ed William, assistant director of the 18th Judicial District Drug Task Force.
Police had searched Walker’s house in October 2011 and Feb. 14, 2012. They had asked him to hand over his Drug Enforcement Administration number, which allows health professionals to prescribe medication, but he refused, according to William. Investigators said they would return with formal charges, which led to this week’s arrest. He was charged with one count of fraudulently obtaining drugs and another count of maintaining a dwelling for drug use.
Both Walker and Iveson have had their DEA numbers revoked. William said the investigations are unrelated. Iveson posted a $10,000 bond on Tuesday, and Walker posted a $50,000 bond on Wednesday.
