Oh, that is tough. Most jobs around here are junk. I can tell you that I lmbo when I see the "great place to work for" banner at the local state college. It really depends what department you work for there. I'm purposefully not putting the name of the college here so it doesn't show up on ne-ones radar. Many big shots there have google alerts. They must be paranoid about something.

WALMART ! Used to be great , now it is horrible you have to walk on eggshells. Some managment still treats people very nice , then again you have the so called Z Managers. Now some of them walk around like their shit don't stink. They let one of the ones go. How would you feel after being on your job for 6 yrs, never a problem one day you are being productive " not just standing around and someone walks uo to you , "says NO TALKING ALLOWED " WORK WORK " or get written up ! Really I can't talk & work. Screw that place. After 6 yrs. I quit. Good attendance , good customer care & good work habit. But MISS WONDERFUL !or is it miss powerful

Simply put....if you are not one of the wealthiest in DK/FD, you're work for one of them. AKA "Big-fish-small-pond Syndrome." There is no middle ground in either place. If you are not in at the state level, in a municipality or in one of the large company's that are drying up faster than a bar after a visit by Lyndsey Lohan, your stuck working in menial, low paying jobs like the majority of those living in the area. Love my home town, the memories, my fam and friends who chose to stay. When I'm visiting.
