Maine AG Mills rejects LePage welfare plan
#1 May 26, 2014
This is one of the few times I agree with Lepage...Maine is digging a big hole when it comes to welfare and MaineCare....Seniors are suffering far too huge of increase on property taxes for one, and many are forced to give up the only home they have. Many are just getting by on their Social Security retirement. If Catholic Charities are continuing to bring over 300 refugees to Maine every year, then it should be on them to support them, not the taxpayers or people of Maine indefinitely...even the schools are suffering. Has everyone lost their common sense and minds? Those that are backing all this then should put their money where their mouths are....you pitch in and support them.
