In 1964, Ronald Reagan gave the commencement speech at the 1964 Republican convention. The speech was called "A Time for choosing". We were in a fight for the ideological control of the GOP. On one side you had the progressive country clubbers, or Rockefeller Republicans. On the other side you had the conservatives, now days known as libertarians. We won in '64 with the nomination of Barry Goldwater, but were defeated in the general election because of the defection of the country clubbers and the lies and dirty tricks of the man who would become one of our worst presidents...LBJ.

We are in that fight again today, but we now have 3 factions vying for the heart and soul of the GOP...the country clubbers, the social conservatives and the libertarians.

Listen to Reagans speech before going to the polls.

The very core of the American belief is that the individual has rights that are inherent and inalienable. The freedom to choose what is best for us without interference from the state is our most cherished gift that is now being violated at alarming rates by the progressives and evangelicals that control our government and both major parties.

We must choose Ron Paul.
