Worst service ever!!!

We usually take our baby next door to debbys but unfortunatelly that day she could not take him in. well we decided to try next door WORST MISTAKE EVER!! he was not ready when we went for him and the groomers did not even bother to look at my husband when he asked how much it would be. They told the girl to tell him instead of them going over to talk to him!! when my girls got home and told me what they say i was so glad we did not leave our baby to be tortured by these women!!...they said a dog that was on the table was screaming its head off!!!! not to mention when i went to drop him off they where giving me attitude and their shop is so dirty and unorganized. There was papers and trash all aorund the front desk! Needless to say we will not return and warn everyone to STAY AWAY from tinas tangled tails!

Now what really happened. You walked in without an appointment. Heather agreed to groom your dog and told you it would be after the appointment dogs. You said that was okay that you were going to Visalia. Your husband came back at 1pm and your yorkie was not finished. There was a puppy first time being groomed on her table. Yes it was upset she was talking to the pup reassuring her. Your husband walked over looked down at the table and seen exactly what was happening, she was petrified of the brush. Your daughter was also reassured. You see here we talk calmly to them-baby them and give treats to make the feel comfortable. We do NOT use the paralyzing choke hold method that some groomers use by grabbing them around the back of the neck and squeezing there little bones so hard they can't make a peep. We feel that taking the extra step and taking our time with them they learn much better and are not afraid anymore. It may be a little noisier but it is much safer and better in the end they feel loved and safe. So no Heather didn't leave the pup unattended (we don't do that) to give your husband your yorkie there was no need when someone else was there to give him the dog. Yes the place was a little messy as you could plainly see there were boxes that we were unpacking and setting up retail products. I have worked in the Tulare-Visalia and Porterville area for over 20 years and for All Creatures for over 5. You are more than welcome to call and ask about me. I had never had a bad review in all these years until I moved from that other groomers shop and it's funny most "reviews" are from her customers...Anyone is more than welcome to stay and watch there dog being groomed or watch on skype. Plan on being there a while we take out time and limit the pets we groom (we don't groom 40 a day ~math~) we take pride in what we do and our work shows it. Again please call any local vet and ask them about our work.

Tina is the only groomer in this area that really knows how to do a proper cut. She is an artist with scissors and clippers. I have a young white standard poodle pup about 60 lbs. Her name is Lilly Marlene and she knows how to "strut her stuff"! I always take her to a place where there are a lot of people as soon as I get her out of Tina's shop and I want to tell you she is a show stopper when she knows she looks good. Everyone asks "who is the groomer?" Even professionals like the obedience trainer remark about what a good groomer Tina is.
A real review from a real customer.
If you care what you dog looks like, then you just better go see Tina!

Tina's Tangled Tail's is, in my opinion, the best dog groomer shop in Porterville. I have called around and she is the nicest person I have talked to. Her shop is always clean and full of joy. I have seen many happy customers. I would definitely recommend Tina's Tangled Tail's.
I cant imagine anyone saying anything bad about her shop or her. Tina is an amazing Groomer and she is AMAZING with her dogs.

Our little Malti-Poo Sasha is an important part of our lives and we are serious about her care . My wife and I have been taking her to Tina's ever since we got her. Tina does an amazing job with her . We travel all over and always take Sasha. People constantly ask us where we take her for grooming and make over her beautiful, healthy coat. Dogs can sense when they look good and people make over them. Porterville is really fortunate to have such a professional shop available.

No she did not shut me up....this site I to inform others on the services received at your business is it not?...well the service I received was not good at all. I was a paying customers and I was charged 25 for just a bath (on a yorkie!) when I was told the entire haircut would be 30. I assume ROTTSRULE is the owner of Tina's? I am just curious as to why you think it is necessary to post good reviews about yourself?

The reviews are from other sites. All baths start at $20.00 for Chihuahua sized dogs Longer haired dogs are $25.00 and up depending on the condition of the pet. The same as other "groomers" in the area. I had been receiving bad reviews after moving from the other shop where we were supposed to be "partners" In all the years I have groomed in the Porterville area I had NEVER not one time had a bad review in almost 20 years that says a lot. Not one "review" had been wrote the whole time I was gone. Now that I am back all of a sudden these "reviews start up again. They all start out saying.........."We usually take our baby next door" <<your quote or something similar. We are only human and can only do so much in a certain amount of time (all walk ins are completed after appointment dogs) and do the job the way it is supposed to be done. You are right if you want a rushed job do not come to us because we do not rush just to make a dollar we take pride in our work and take our time on each and every pet to ensure there safety and make them feel relaxed and calm. Have a blessed day and maybe it would be better if you made a appointment ahead of time so you can get into the groomer of your choice. I am making a living doing a job I love in a relaxed loving environment. God bless you and yours, Tina Kauffman
