Who still lives around P'Ville

ITF of 82

Several people from this class still live around P'ville. But it is hard to remember when you were not from this class, don't have a yearbook from this year, or keep getting '81 and '83 mixed up with '82.

But here are a few: Sam Tillman, Picca (McMillen) Walker, Kristy (Stafford) Johnson, Terry Moody, Rodney Ivie, Jackie (Kellams) Graham, Angie Ivie, Doug Hawkins, Stephanie (Lechenette) Ivie, Hank Maclin, Dennis Adams, Jimmy Beis, Christie (Bond) Childers, Delmar Edgar, Neil Essary, Karen (Foster) Brands, Greg Gream, Thomas Harrington, Russell Hoggard, Bertha (Jones) Moore?, Barry McCoy, Carla (Martin) Brown, Alan Mays, Gary Mercer, Terry (Muller) Williams?, and Teresa (Owens) Rhodes. Sorry, this is not my class. I might have put people in here who are not still around, but most of these are. Also, sorry ladies if I botched your names. Married names can be a little tricky to keep up with.

I'm sure others will help you with the rest.

Is it IFT or ITF?

I KNOW what IFT stands for. Could it be the drugs took over in your first posting when you typed "ITF of 82"? Check it out, that is what you typed.

Do you know how I felt yesterday, when I thought on those initials, and went through an old yearbook my brother dug up, and got SO excited because there was no ITF listed, and somehow my mind mixed the letters, and I thought I knew exactly what IFT stood for?(Yes, the run-on sentence should tell you exactly how worked up I was.) Anyway, I got everyone in the household all excited, only to come back to your original posting and realize I was wrong. NOW, I feel vindicated in my beliefs. Thanks for clearing that up, but you must not have be monitoring this site until just recently, because I had posted earlier in a Favorite Teachers thread a question about IFT. And NOW, NOW you finally decide to respond!!!!

By the way, we want to know whose thigh was it? That I don't remember.

And talk about a wierd fact, that title influenced the way I heard Ace of Base's "I Saw The Sign." Trust me, I had to work so long not to put the words for the initials of your club's name in for the original title, and I knew what the words were supposed to be. Pitiful.

Honestly, a few months back I was just posting for information about the group, because when I was growing up, you would hear the boys throw this title around. Most of us underclassmen never knew what it meant specifically.

But the other day when this came up, it triggered something to the point I had the whole house involved in this. Then when I went back to the original post and read the initials, and realized I had made a mistake, I was so deflated! I felt like real idiot.

So, yes, I was a little riled up. But you caught the typo. Or....you know all about IFT. Which is it? Hmmm.....

I hope texas posts back soon so this issue can be resolved or more information brought to bear on the subject.

By the way, Suburb Citizen, I am just as clueless as to your identity as I am about texas. I have seen you post many times over, but that is all. So we shall remain unknowns to one another. Until....I told DD it was just too much fun to keep people guessing.

Hold up. I must go back to my original posting of IFT. No one responded to my initial inquiry, so I thought I must be stupid, or wrong, or something. People just left me hanging like laundry in the wind. It was like it never existed, and I posted on a fairly busy thread. So I thought I would get some response.

And now texas drops it like a hot potato. Yeah, I know who cares about me in this town. Thanks people. You know who's got your back when you need it.

I hope they post back soon too. I have no clue what these letters mean but now I am curious. I did catch the typo! Only because I was trying to figure it out. I know it's none of my business but I like a good riddle!

I have absolutely no clue as to your identity either, however, I have always enjoy reading your post. Sometimes I feel like I have some unknown buddies on here. It's nice to have somewhere to discuss issues and cut up a little! I say we remain as unknowns ... that's part of the fun!

I might have to give up my anonymous state, since several people are getting rather uncomfortable with me knowing quite a bit about them, and them not knowing much about me.

Oh, and I had not noticed how much I was saying until lately. I tried to start slow and build up. I was always concerned about setting people off. My big fault is I like to make peace.

"And most of all, I want world peace." - Every Miss America or beauty contestant who had the misfortune of going through the questioning round. But I support the peaceful exchange of ideas, even if they differ from mine. Who knows, I may learn something from their opinions.

You have been posting multiple posts on different threads which have insight. I am curious to who you are. Care to give a few clues?

What type of insight are we talking about?

As for clues, I was not born in Portageville, but I have lived most of my life here. Getting closer?

Investigating continues...single, 42, teacher but can't figure out what grade. Also sounds like you live at home with your family. But you still are a mystery and I enjoy a challenge.

Thank you! I knew it had to be something like that. Oh, the drama of our younger years. I remember when feeling thighs was really something!

Who was there to verify you felt a thigh?LOL

I actually thought it was "I Felt the Thigh" as if there was a certain thigh that was more infamous than others. Sort of like guys ribbing each other about getting with someone who is rather untouchable or above them in status.

"A thigh" just doesn't seem as exciting. Now "the thigh"-Yowza!
