animals animals i do not care if they have mental problems or if they were "abused" as children they deserve to be hogtied and have scalding hot water poured over them repeatedly and made to suffer just as this young boy suffered. There was no excuse for this none.....ahh my prayers go to this young boy i only hope that he can recover from this and lead a normal life..

What can you say?

Some people live by the law of the jungle in garbage cans, and every once in awhile the police take a lid off and we get to peek at the human garbage inside. Otherwise, it almost seems like everyone that might have a clue, looks the other way.

Who do we fault and call names?

Perhaps the society that collectively ignores visible signs of something not being right in an obviously dysfunctional family they see at the store, kids they see outside during school hours, dirty disheveled kids they see playing in the street far too late at night, perhaps we all share a little blame for not reporting what we see, many times because we don't want to "bother" the authorities... or just don't want to get involved. So now we all read the stories, condemn the "parents" and feel better about ourselves.

In this case, if a nosey neighbor had made a few phone calls an eleven year old boy might not have had to go through years of a living Hell too horrible to image.

This sounds like a horror movie. What kills me is that there are so many great people that cannot have children, and then you have these monsters that do this to their children and other people. God help that little boy.

yes people need to get involved a quick story when i was young in the 80's my adoptive father was abusing me he would hit me with a shovel outside and the neighbors would see and no one ever did anything to help me, b uton the flip side the system needs to listnen..i tried to help a 5 year old little girl on my street that i found wandering naked up and down my street...the cops came DCF came and they did nothing. Later on this mother came to my house looking for prescription drugs once again i called and they did nothing..Sometimes at night i can hear this little girl screaming and i call the cops come and leave.....We all need to do our part and the system needs to work for these innocent children....

I concur with "Mo". The time to call the Child Abuse Hotline &/or the police is at the first red flag. Signs of neglect &/or abuse noticed in public is probably just the tip of the iceberg for the victims of domestic violence & child abuse.

WHY? ABUSE BEGETS ABUSE:
As for the 15 year old girl, Felicia Mae, I cannot help but wonder where her anger & rage came from? Her mother/parent/murder victim, participated in the abuse of her brother as well. As a survivor of child abuse, I think it's at least possible that she carries a victim's rage toward her abuser. Why that abuse extended to her brother ... the only "rationale" I can imagine is the cyclical nature of abuse. I don't think abusers understand "why" they do it. They're acting out what they've lived & what they know. If they had been rescued, I believe they would be less likely to abuse themselves &/or others.
ABUSE BEGETS ABUSE!

I am sick and tired of reading the same general story with different details over and over... If an adult (16+) is found responsible for hurting/torturing/abusing a child, they deserve the death penalty. And make it quick, too. We guarantee "alleged criminals" the right to a quick and speedy trial. If they are found guilty of a heinous crime, then the punishment should be quick and speedy, too.

These animals are poor excuses for human beings. The sooner they are gone from society the better.

They need to do the same to them and that brat of a daughter. Some will say theropy but I feel there is no hope for scum like this. If they do not excute them they should all be put away for life no parole. As far as the minor she was old enough to know right from wrong.

Well woah to you.
Seems to me that if YOU didn't like it then why would you expect yours or any child to LIKE it. If you are half an intelligent human being you would not have children or inflict this treatment on others untill you got YOURSELF treatment. In the meantime don't blame the past for the abuses of the future.

This all happens because America is forgotten and prohibiting Christianism, this is the result of people without God and Law, like an astronaut ready to kill for a lover, this is the new generation of americans, pls return to their roots, were christianism was essencial, so America might enjoy a better generation.

I didn't call you any names, which I very well could have done, so why are you calling me names? Not very appropiate to say the least.
I do know that you are defending this girl, which is exactly why I posted as I did. There is NO DEFENSE for her. She is not to be given ANY understanding for her cruelty to others, for any reason. Especially if she went thru the abuse herself. SHE SHOULD KNOW BETTER.
Your origional post says it all.

I think these nuts need to be put in an institution...fast.
What kind of people think up these things? Sounds like something out of one of those horrible movies that Hollywood puts out..like Saw and Hostel.. and who would want to watch these movies, who thinks up these horrible themes.. I wonder if people who are "almost over the edge" see something like that and get ideas...
how sick... the young boy will always have live with these horrible memories...

Oh WHATEVER, Jim. If god is so great where the hell was he when the woman and child were being tortured? Spare us your moral "superiority." We have LAWS, we don't need religion to dictate. How many have been killed in the name of god? Way too many to count.

My heart aches for that poor, poor little boy. To be abused in such a horrendous manner by his own mother and sister! I can't even to begin to imagine the horror, the sadness and fear that boy had to live with every day. The sick and demented individuals respondsible must never be allowed back into society!....Not ever!!! Only a soul-less monster with not one shred of humanity could commit such a crime. Every single one of them should be put down like the rabid animals they are. There is no reforming for individuals like these, they should die a slow and painful death. I can't stop crying for this poor boy, I pray he can somehow heal from all the pain that was inflicted on him and that he can find a home with people who can love and cherish him. He's going to need so much love, patience and understanding to ever be capable of overcoming the torture he has to call "childhood".
