Halloween Hits Home With Local Movie “A Sheer Agenda”
Cult icon Tom Sullivan (Evil Dead, The Dread) and
newcomer Serena Scobey will be starring in the new
suspense-shocker,“A Sheer Agenda”, being produced
through Ream Enterprises and Nevermore Pictures.
Tom not only created and designed many of the
most memorable make-up & effects from the “Evil Dead” movies, but also the title creature from “The Dread”. He will be playing the key role of Professor Hills in the production.
“A Sheer Agenda” was written by Jenifer
Triezenberg and Alex Kirkendall, and is directed by
Triezenberg herself. The film has been six years in
the making since it’s conception and originally came
about as a “Halloween who-dunnit party”. Triezenberg developed the script through their
production company, Nevermore Pictures, and then
teamed up with Chad Ream, of Ream Enterprises, to
produce the film.
Much of the cast & crew are made up of such
locals as Lee Behymer doing make-up effects and Justin Cash Kirkpatrick filling the role of production manager and assistant director. Both had previously worked on “The Dread”, the last feature film shot here.
The film which also stars Adam J. Slager,
William Ellwood and Kellie Dominique, is currently
filming in the Kalamazoo /Portage area and is in negotiations for distribution
sometime in 2007. Michigan is a great place to
showcase in a film and we hope to have more
productions here in the near future, which would help to create not only artistic, but employment
opportunities as well.

Buddy VS The Living Dead is as much fun as it sounds. And tender, touching and scarry too.
Can't wait.

Thank you for casting Ben (mohawk)- We enjoyed it just as much as he did. We were having a party with 50 guests and the place went wild when he came in so it will be remembered for a long time. We love Zombies!
