'Serious concerns' raised about new judge assignments in Kalamazoo County
The head of an association made up of more than 60 attorneys who practice family law in Kalamazoo County said he has numerous questions about a decision last week to assign a sitting district court judge to an open seat in probate court .

Justice is blind but that appears to be shifting to blindly political from the bottom to the top. I'm left wondering what the angle is when 60 people form an association with a goal of influencing the practice of law.
Were they elected or does anyone know them or why this group should hold this kind of influence?
