I'm sorry for what happened to everyone involved including Travis I have been a good friend of his for like 10 years and he really is an amazing friend. I DO NOT AGREE AT ALL WITH WHAT HE DID, but I do Love him very much. I hope that know one ends up sick because of him. It wasn't fare when it happened to him and it isn't fare that it could happen to others. Damn this disease I want my friend back.

It's no different than holding a loaded gun up to your friend's (ie sex partner) head with one bullet in the chamber. Then he spins the chamber and pulls the trigger.

What's the difference between that and knowingly spreading HIV?

Nothing.

Amen bro...Anyone (Man or Women) with the so called "Disease" should have the moral fortitude to # 1 notify the partner and/or # 2 if the other partner agrees to sex then DOUBLE WRAP.

I TOTTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! Friend from Door!
He trully is an amazing person and friend! He was making some bad decisions and he knew it.... I don't think he knew how to handle it. We spoke at length about him getting HIV. It really is unfortunate to him and all involved. What he was doing was wrong. And He knows it. He told me before he was arrested that it's gonna happen sooner or later.

And all of you that knew about it and said nothing to his partners should be held responsible as well. I hope it haunts you to know that you could have put an end to this and chose not to. You are almost just as bad.

I am sure that Travis was full of guilt and fear (knowing that he had HIV) and he was wrong for not being honest with Lisa, but I also hold each of them responsible (Tim & Lisa). If Lisa was concerned enough to ask Travis if he had been tested then she had her doubts and should have been using protection with him. She could have also asked Travis to go with her and they both could have been tested. It makes me sick to think about how Lisa said that "she loved him and it was him and her against the world"...if you truly love someone (in my opinion) then you don't intentionally try to hurt the person and their family (some of you may say that is what Travis was doing by not saying anything.... but I truly feel that his fear was causing him to live in disbelief himself). Lisa said that it devestated her to find out that Travis was HIV...can you imagine how his mother felt when she found out (she had no idea that Travis was HIV until the week that Travis was arrested).

I am praying that Lisa and Tim will continue to test negative because I don't want them and their families to have to go through the pain of this awful disease..and I don't want Travis to have to live with that guilt too.

I think he deserves whatever they give him. Travis has been sleeping around for years and for him to not be able to come out with it and harm others is unforgivable. They always say you will get what's coming to you so there you go Trav. I thank god that you didn't infect my friend while you were dating her.

To be very clear: DO NOT USE 2 CONDOMS AT ONE TIME. The latex rubbing against latex causes condoms to break, and actually increases the chance of pregnancy/disease. The safer method includes 1 new condom for every act with every partner.

I've known Trav. for a long time. I know what kind of person he is. Even as an old friend, I would give him the maximum. If you have been intimate with him, please see the proper people. Don't be another vitim.

That's what happens when people advocate abstinence-only instead of sex education. These moron parents who think their kid is going to wait till they're married and never tell them shit. Guess what you idiots, your little snowflake is not keeping it in his/her pants. Now we've got all these idiots out there "double wrapping" it and usually not wrapping it at all because they're too fucking stupid to know better. And of course, these morons are repopulating the world all over, it's Idiocracy and all because of idiot parents and abstinence-only.

I have been a friend of Travis for a few years now and knew nothing about this unitl just a couple of weeks ago, but I think is horrible but what even is more horrible that everyone who is claiming to be his friend on here is the first to talk smack about him. I truly believe Travis did not do this vindictively or mischeviously. He, yes, should have thought abou this actions and told his partners, but he had a very hard time with all of this. He didn't even tell his family until all this broke out. And I do believe that sleeping with someone and having HIV and not telling the person is a crime and COULD be a death sentence, but has anyone thought about the fact that niether partner has tested positive and what they have done to Travis for the rest of his life too?

Forget that! That is blatent disreguard for another persons life. I don't care how hard of a time he was having coping with his plight. He chose to make the bed he slept in. HE chose to have sex with those other people without protection and without notifying them of his current diagnosis. Regardless of how nice everyone says he is, it is attempting to kill another person by infecting them with a disease. You would think if he was having such a hard time with this that he might keep his d_ck in his pants. His penis is dripping with disease you defend him by saying he is having a hard time? How dare he and how dare you.
