Scrap metal from Duluth bridge made into souvenirs

To Ryan Beamer, it seemed like an awful waste of steel. For three years, the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge has been undergoing improvements and repairs, including replacing worn steel plates.

Neat idea. Make a couple hundred more and get the Up North MN store at Mall of America to sell them at Christmas time. I'm sure a lot of people in the cities who have been in Duluth in the past would love the chance to buy something like this at the price you are asking. It would be on my list.
