The murder of anyone is not justice--it's paiful, just because the courts have legalized murder doesn't make it right. Everything Hitler did was legal when he took power; was it right because it was legal? No, we all know that. The United States should end the death penalty simply because we are above the Nazis and their death squads. My point; just because something is legal does NOT make it right. When a person's loved one is murdered, it causes nothing but pain--legalized murder causes pain too--how can our society NOT understand that? Stop legalized murder.(And killing in self defense is not what I'm referring to here--it is our human right to defend ourselves)

There is no compaison between the two. Davis murdered a man who came to the aid of a homeless man that was being beaten.. Hitler murdered people because they were Jewish. How can you compare the two? I am for the death penalty. I am tired of my tax money going towards supporting these worthless @#$$%%$#$# I would rather my tax money go towards helping the victims and the victims families that people like Davis leave behind.

For one, Hitler's main targets were the Jews but the Nazis targeted more than just the Jews--and that is fact. I'm not a death penalty supporter and we can agree to disagree. I'm tired of my tax money being spent on the death penalty. I'm a supporter of tax dollars being spent on community support, police officers, firemen, victim services, education etc. In my opinion, money is wasted on a death penalty system that is broken and I, personally, would rather see my tax dollars spent more efficiently and effectively. Especially in this economy.

First, troy davis was innocent. Nice of you to joyfully call for the execution of an innocent man. Secondly, the death penalty costs MORE than life in prison.

There were 9 people who testified against him. Since then 7 of them have recanted citing police coercion. And of the 2 remaining, one of them is the suspect some others say did the killing. Way too much 'doubt' to kill someone. I think those 7 other people need to be locked up too for putting this man to death.

Could YOU stand up to the pressure of the various groups blaming YOU for your testimony "putting someone to death"?
