It seems a little strange to say that Georgia seniors are told they can't pray before meals when actually you are only referring to a hand full of seniors in Port Wentworth, Georgia. I don't know of any attempt to stop any other senior centers from having prayer before their meals. I do know that Port Wentworth is by no means the only senior center where prayers are offered before their meals.

My oh my...could it be that giving thanks to Jesus, who provides healing, salvation, grace, favor, food, clothing, shelter, and all things could be so horrible? The Lord says if we honor him before men he will honor us before his father. I really do not believe in this day and time we should be tinkering with theses things just because the Federal Govt. says it is wrong? Who gives the Fed. Govt. their power? Of course, the Lord can hear the silent prayers and will honor those who continue to offer thanks. Good luck guys, if there was such a thing as luck!

Once again the elderly are a target for confusion and threat. It's not enough that the ELDERLY are having to live the rest of their days afraid and in confusion. Now the one solid comforting daily rite is wrong? I say as tax payers everyone should request this procedure(prayer) be GRANDFATHERED, no pun intended and leave the folks to their God given spiritul comfort.
