Newcomerstown man gets more prison time

COSHOCTON - Citing a lengthy list of criminal activity dating back to juvenile court, Judge Richard Evans sentenced Chaz Gillian, 19, formerly of Newcomerstown, to three years in prison Thursday morning.

That is the best place for him!!! He has been nothing but a trouble maker since he was very young. He's nothing but a lying, thieving, piece of shit. 3 years in NOT enough time for all the horrible things he has done through the years.

I completely disagree,maybe because I took the time to get to know Chaz and the hell of a life he has been through. I believe we all do stupid things when we are young. The only difference is we all don't get caught. Try not to judge someone unless you've walked in their shoes. After all, it's not our job to judge anyone.

He was constantly in trouble, and the only way to straighten him out is to teach him that there are consequences. Hopefully, once he is released he will have reached a maturity level. He consistently associated himself w/troubled people including his long time girlfriend. She was not a positive influence either.Pray for his rehabilitation.

I know alot of people in this town that should pay for their crimes.i say it's about time these Judges start doing there job,and stop letting people off on a lesser charge!!!

I'm sick of everytime there's a crimal news story friends and family come on and say how good they really were, it was a one time mistake, they were turning their life around or whatever. Give it up, he's trash and needs thrown out into the dump.

wow people I hope that someone in your family doesn't do something wrong. I bet u would disown them. I got to know Chaz when he was 13 yrs old and tried to do things right, but when u have people constently telling u that ur no good and worthless and so on (even his own mom) what do u expect of an out come. Yeah some would try to prove to those of us that think we r better than others, but whats the use, u just knock him down over and over and over. U judgemental people need to take that plank out of ur own eyes. A sin is a sin in Gods eyes.
