I am with you Deep Thinker...I worked for them over 6 years and they did exactly that....Barry would purposely not pay vendors and not care at all...We would have to avoid the constant calls saying we are overdue...Even the landlord in Port Washington would threaten to lock the doors because we were so behind in paying the lease...They cared nothing about us in the corp office....They did hire ONLY ivy league grads and our payroll in the corp office was insane...For no reason...We did not need kids with no experience coming in as directors...That was a huge mistake from Steve himself...We did not need that extra payroll for kids that knew nothing at all....And the clothes are garbage...I was loyal for 6 years and my ivy league boss let me go on the phone....Ha!...What goes around as they say....

As a FORMER SUPPLIER I can tell you in no uncertain terms that the reason suppliers cut off this company is because THEY DON'T PAY THEIR BILLS!! They buy the products for next to nothing as it is, demand the products be delivered in an unrealistic timeframe and when you bust your hump to make sure those products make the deadline THEY STIFF YOU ON THEIR BILLS.........POOR STEVE & BARRY?
They have their Accounts Payable people lie to you til they are blue in the face (how many of you were told Barry himself signs the checks and they have to wait for him to do so? PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE we're not mentally retarded)- And yet you read posts on here from "loyal employees" who take these guys side.........cut your loses while you can people and jump off the Titanic before it's totally submerged, cut God know Steve & Barry aren't going to worry about how you're going to feed your families when they close their doors!
