It is amazing how people don't realize the effects of their actions have on others. He turned something so small as a car accident into taking the lives of two people. One i loved and cared about Lee Campbell. He was a deacon at my church and sunday school teacher. He has a wife, daughters, a grandson, parents, and siblings. I just hope that their is some type of way to keep high speed chases to a minimum or at least more control over them. I may sound a little drastic with my commeny but i am still in the grieving process. I just hope that justice is served and that he doesn't get off with a slap on the wrist.

I do understand your pain and suffering. But i strongly disagree with you saying "justice being served". Everyone makes mistakes and has accidents. It is not like he woke up this morning and said "i think I will kill two peole today". Wrecks happen everyday for many of mistakes that people make. How would you feel if you got in a wreck and killed two people? Would you want someone like me to say that to you? I seriously doubt it. You have no idea the pain he feels. Not only from the pain of the wreck but from the fact of killing two people. How would you feel waking up every morning for the rest of your life knowing you killed someone? Well that is the same pain he will feel the rest of his life. You cannot judge a book by the cover. Justice will not bring back either of the men that died in this accident. I have been a catholic for 30 years of my life and i dont wish suffering upon anyone. I am sorry for your loss but you are not the only one suffering. His family is as well and "justice being served" will make his family suffer even more.

He is suffering at his own hand for his reckless disregard of the law and the safety of the general public. Why shouldn't justice be served? This is a sign of the end times. Right will be wrong and wrong will be right. The age of accountability is passed. Two people are dead and you are whining because the criminal may get his day in court. What the hell is wrong with you?

I am sorry for your loss but you are not the only one suffering. His family is as well and "justice being served" will make his family suffer even more. How can you sit there and say this? Let him suffer. Justice does need to be served. He does need to think everyday about the two people that he killed. If he would have obeyed the law this would not have happened. How can you call this an accident? He may not have woke up and as you say "planned to kill 2 people today" but this is what he did because of not following the law. He was running from the cops!!!!! I do feel sorry for his family because they have to deal with the loss of not seeing him everday when and if justice is served but at least they still get to talk to him and see him on visiting days. The family of the 2 victims will never get to see them or talk to them again. Now I ask you how would you feel if it were someone in your family he killed under the same circumstances. I doubt seriously you would think that justice did not need to be served then.

If you knowingly run from cops and cause the death of others you ARE responsible for that death. This was no accident, it was purposely done. He may not have intended to kill 2 people, but he knew the possibility was there to harm others. It's like taking a loaded gun and firing at random. You know it's dangerous, so don't do it.

If this guy would have just stopped in the beginning this would have never happened. He should be brought to justice to the fullest extent. My prayer go out to the family of the victims.

I'm of the opinion that we all take a step back and view this spritually instead of in the natural. We have all sinned!!! The Prairieville man just got exposed and caught openly..... I'm am reminding us all "JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED"! We need to morn the loss and pray for forgiveness and cover ourselves, family, friends and those that are lost that we never have to experience either side of this situation. I am learing on a daily basis--- it's just best to let God fight the battle... Love you all....

I feel sure you would not be so forgiving if this was a member of your family. The guy was wrong in what he did and now he should pay the price. I'm sure that those two people didn't wake up that morning thinking there were going to die. The problem today is that people are not taking responsibility for their own actions and are always trying to blame it on something else.

I totally agree with you, but we must leave it to God to judge this person, not us as man. But you can be sure if justice is not done here it will be done come this persons final day on Earth. But for the families involved I hope they can find peace and have closure with this sad case of death.

I don't feel as though I'm being harsh. Why didn't he just stop. This would have never happened. I don't even know either party involved. I'm simply making my statements based on what I would feel if that occured to someone in my family.

Any "Christian" who wants revenge must not expect to get forgiveness in the hereafter I guess. Why should they be forgiven when they cant follow their chosen example? Hypocrites!

What kind of example was this guy setting. I'm sure you wouldn't be so easy to forgive had something like this occured to you. Like I said all he had to do was stop!!!! I'm sure he didn't intend to hurt anybody but his actions speek louder than his intentions.

Blake hasnt had any punishment at all for killing 2 people. to this day he is sitting on his porch smoking cigaretts and injoying his life. i would like to know why he isnt behind bars. i see him everyday at his house laughing and hanging out with his friends. Wow the economy is really going to shit if a murderer is free to go home and do what he pleases.

From the Family

First let me say that the family of Jodi Reine is not only saddened by the passing of Jodi but is also hurting for the family of Lee Campbell! Our family is torn right now because the fact that the one whom took Jodi's life by his own hand is also a member of our family. While there is those in the family that want to shelter and protect Blake Dean from what he did, there are those us that know justice will be done here on earth as well as on judgement day!!!! Most of the family isn't speaking to him because of the pain we still feel and we can't forget nor quite forgive. We as a catholic family know that God judges all in the end -- also knows that mans law will judge him prior to his death and we all feel that whatever he gets not only will it not bring the two men back to us but it wont be harsh enough. Most of us in the family will be in court and pray that the Campbell family will be there as well to make sure that the judge, laywers, and Blake Dean will always remember the faces of the victims; for the two that lost their lives by his hand is only two victims - the families they left behind is also victims in something they cant control!!!!!!!!
