That's all good and just dandy. Just how much money can be expected to be garnered with an advanced degree in the "fine arts"? I would rather see federal grant money be used to bring scientists, mathematicians, and physicists to make presentations. Flutes, floating styrofoam and such will not give our children much preparation for living in the real world. What a waste of resources. I thought all of those worthless hippy notions had died. Join the real world.

She came to my classroom too. I loved her creative work. Lots of my classmates found poetic voices that they hadn't had before and so did I. Everybody learned that poetry helps you express yourself no matter what you do with your life. If we have one more way to peacefully express ourselves with something beautiful then that will make the world better.
