Two Port St. Lucie parents were charged with child neglect after shoppers noticed their 7-month-old girl had been left alone in an unlocked car for half an hour Monday, the Martin County Sheriff's Office said.

Whether they meant harm or not, it was a dangerous decision. Not only could the baby have been the next baby to overheat and die because some idiot left them in a car but also, anyone could have taken the child from the car and never have been seen again. God knows what could have happened then.
