If the county has so much corruption like people say then what difference would it make. I say let well enough alone.

Can't hurt my feelings lady. I don't plan on getting in trouble. Could care less who is Judge, DA or DJ. Unless you haven't learned by now you still need to be a resident of Mifflin County to run for a Mifflin County office so you will still get MC officials. So you'll still get the same resolve in the end. You will just have someone else who will piss you off when your family member screws up. Tell your family to stay out of trouble or suck it up when they don't and these officials will not piss you off. Pretty simple process. Arrogant? Nope, just informed.

Sure you're not. Do realize how many people get arrested in this county. Pretty sad when the blame isn't put on the right people. Like the ones who are committing the crimes and getting caught. Of course no one wants a family member in jail, however the biggest reason the family members get so focused on the government being corrupt or crooked is because they feel what their family member has done is a reflection on them. Let it go. Let them be held accountable for their actions.

It will not change, even if a new DA is elected the problem will still be there but just for the new DA. You would feel the same way towards the new DA if your family member were to screw up again under his control. It's just human nature to protect our family, even when they have done wrong.

What crime did he commit? Why was he arrested 2 days later is he was so out of control? Sounds to me like Mr. Snook had to get his story straight.

Family member or no family member what about the civil rights of the citizens of the United States? Freedom of speech isn't a right no more when is comes to an elected official, huh?

I don't think Ms. Hunter should be investigated all she was guilty of is having a heart. I think its time someone investigates Mr. Steve Snook, lets clean out his closet.

If you don't know, how can you so boldly make those remarks. You should educated yourself before you make yourself look worse than you already have. Also there is a big difference between free speech and breaking the law, a BIG difference. Maybe just maybe an investigation was done and it took two days to gather all the facts. Did you ever consider that? Had he been arrested that night you'd be bitchin about no investigation. Can't have it both ways. It's very apparent he is a family member of yours. Sorry about your luck, he was over due.

Either way I could careless what they do with the case since it does not effect me. I'm not stupid enough to threaten any state official, let alone the Chief Law Enforcement official of the county. Gustsy maybe, but I'd lean more towards stupid. I wish him the best of luck trying to beat the charges, but if he goes for a jury trial it will be hard to find people for the jury, seeing how he has ripped off so many people in this county.

This topic is boring me now. Later!

You really need to educate yourself on who he really is!! You dont have to be a family member to see that he is getting a raw deal. When the Chief law enforcement official of the county is entertaining in a BAR he is not an official there, he cannot use his status there!!!! He has no business being there in the first place. Sounds like your doing some threatening now, by saying that Mr. Frankhouser is "long overdue"! Bullshit that is does not affect you, you know too much! What investigation would there have to be if you felt threatened????????? Sounds like abuse of power and a waste of tax payer dollars to me! Doesn't take an educated person to see what's going on but sorry to dissapoint you I am educated. It's the layman who will decide who will be the next District Attorney!

It's all part of living in a small town. These petty local-yocal grievances are a tempest in a teapot. This stuff happens in every small town.

Here is what I predict will happen.

1) Frankhouser will lose his job as a constable. Charges against him will go away, assuming Frankhouser goes away -- quietly.

2) Tammy Hunter will be suspended, and given a reprimand. She will not get reelected as DJ.

3)The DA will be given a behind the scenes lecture that he needs to be conduct himself like Caesar's wife. Lewistown Resident: that is an expression from classical literature that most 9th graders know. It means that the DA's conduct must be above reproach so as to not even give the appearance of impropriety. To keep it simple for you LR, that menas he needs to stay out of bars.

Anyone disagree?

First of all I think ninth graders know how to spell MEANS and
(needs to be conduct himself ) Is that Dutch or what kind of language is that? Anyway the Words INMATE, EMPLOYEE, PARAMOUR, AND COHIBITATED was what got these three in trouble, Little Caesar had nothing to do with it. However on your comment that the DA has to stay out of bars, isn't he over the age of 21, doesn't he have a right to have an interest in MUSIC, " You seemed to act like the music teacher just the other day,so you must like it also", and you need to separate private life from public life, The DA was doing what he like to do, playing music in a bar, not a crime. However with all that said, If you apply all these words above to the DA, he is not a stranger to them either, Everytime the appeals come up of the two men convicted in the rape of the 11 year old girl at an East Walnut St location, and the DA had to excuse himself from that trial because of special interest, I don't think Little Caesar was present there either.

Maybe you have to keep relationships out of the workplace as some manufacturing places do, The break-up of MCRPD. is ringing a bell in my ear.

The DA does not have a right to be in a bar if he is going to use his position there!!!!! Like I said in a bar he is not a DA he is customer just like you and I with the same rights! He should not be able to use his position to push people around like I heard him do MANY times!!

If I follow your line of reasoning, when DA Snook is in the bar, he isn't the DA, he is a customer. Right? So, when Barry Obama was at JP's, he wasn't a candidate, he was a customer, and any threats against him would not have been a crime? Don't think the Secret Service agents with him would have bought your explanation either. DA Snook is the DA whenever and where ever, not just 9-5 Monday thru Friday. He was allegedly threatened for actions he took as DA.

I don't think Barrack Obama would be in a bar acting like Steve Snook acts either!! Guess you've never seen him out? It is not a pretty site! Don't know how anyone can respect someone who acts like him. Either he wants to be a drunk or he wants to be a pillar of the community, which is it?
