I feel that many in our community missed a really fine production entitled "Art". Three actors portrayed friends who were involved in a conflict resulting from one of them purchasing a painting that one of the others did not appreciate. As true friends happen to be, they all had their problems. This was a timely play demonstrating that we all put up with "stuff" from our friends just because we care about them. Unfortunately, because there was a warning about some "profanity", many chose not to attend the performances. The profanity was very minor compared to many of the videos rented daily or the movies enjoyed by people in our community. Perhaps, we all just need to be a little more open about the offerings we are privileged to view.
