Finally a real plastic surgeon in Gig Harbor. Dr. Piasecki is an incredible surgeon - extremely talented with a gracious and funny bedside manner. He takes time with his patients. Visiting his office is a refreshing return to how medicine used to be. Thank you for moving here, Dr. P!!!

Absolutely the best there is! They don't make doctors like this anymore! Besides being incredibly talented he has a great sense of humor and makes you feel like you are his only patient. Definitely a superstar.

Wow! Having plastic surgery combined w/Mohs is wonderful! Dr. Piasecki is extremely well qualified with a unique set of skills, and he really cares about his patients. A great experience!

Completely agree with the other comments. All should know he is starting to offer Botox and Juvederm so if you'd rather have it done by a plastic surgeon than a nurse as is done in the other Gig Harbor offices, go to Harbor Plastic Surgery Center. It doesn't cost any more and this place is extremely ethical and professional.

My mom had her Mohs done with Dr. Piasecki about a month ago. She was thrilled with her care and her healing is amazingly. She was so impressed with her experience, she spent 4 hours yesterday making cookies for Dr. Piasecki and his family.

I just went to the open house at Harbor Plastic Surgery Center and WOW!!! I'm very impressed with this practice. Dr. Piasecki has such a funny, caring personality. I did not have surgery, but did have Botox done. I love that Harbor Plastic Surgery Center does not use nurse injectors. They think it should be done by doctors. I completely agree.

Botox injections are often done best by health care professionals whom have not only the training but the experience, Dr.P has not injected Botox for 7 plus years, nor treated anywhere near the numbers of patients that many nurse practioners and physician assists in the Pierce county area have done.

I trained with Dr. Piasecki and I would disagree with Madison's post. 5 years of plastic surgery residency (plastic surgery residency includes all cosmetic procedures, including injectables), a year of fellowship working with the founder of botox (Carruthers), and two more years applying those skills in practice here - the guy is extremely well trained, and is very experienced.

Nurse injectors and physician assistants as well as other doctors who have experience are certainly safe and not outside the standard of care. But the whole package of knowledge and skill in the area of facial plastic surgery, anatomy and cosmetic analysis that you get with Dr. P is undoubtedly an advantage to the patient, and it's at no extra cost.

Please note that Dr. Pieseki now has a nurse injector (not a nurse practitioner or physician assistant), so what do you think now?

Hey Allison, here is what I think now. I am an RN with 30 years experience and I have had Botox injected by a PA, a nurse, and a Doctor. I will take the DOCTOR anytime over the others. The injections were better and the results maintained longer than when the others gave them. Thanks for the heads up because I am looking for a DOCTOR to give my injections and not a nurse or a PA to give them. I guess that eliminates Dr. Pieseki's clinic for all my future botox injections...will keep looking though...thanks again Allison!

Cosmetic surgery is the process that doesn’t just help you enhance your look but also assists you in getting rid of those scars and cuts. You can always help yourself to remove birth skin defects. There is the common misconception that only women go for cosmetic surgery in Miami but the tendency is wrong after seeing a 50% rise of men who utilize cosmetic surgery.

That is very interesting, considering Dr. Piasecki has done NO training in this state prior to moving here & only started injecting in his office a few months ago. I know for a fact he did zero when he was working with Peninsula Dermatology.

My skin cancer is gone and I thank Dr Piasecki for that.

However, my reconstruction had to be redone and I had to pay for a second surgery.
I can't help but wonder if it could have been different. In most things, if something has to be done over the contractor pays, in this case the patient pays.

Thanks to all of our patients for their kind words. It's really nice to hear your enthusiasm. We are very happy to be a part of this great community and pleased to offer patients cancer excision and cosmetic reconstruction on the same day. Patients are coming from Seattle, Vancouver, Spokanne, Portland and even Europe to receive this more convenient, cost effective treatment. What patients love most is the result of the reconstruction.
Tilly, I am concerned you may have the wrong physician. 100% of Dr. Piasecki's patients come for follow-up visits. If someone was not happy with their reconstruction, they would be fixed at no additional charge.
Of over 1000 continuous patients surveyed, Dr. P's patient satisfaction is at 10 out of 10. If you are not happy, please contact our office and we'll be happy to help you.

Ronnie, she's actually really good. Dr. Pieseki still performs injections for patients who request him. His passion, however, is skin cancer and having a nurse injector (who is a regional trainer) actually frees him up to treat skin cancer patients.

Wow there is a lot of buzz around Harbor Plastic Surgery Center!!! What an amazing spot. The office is beautiful and the staff is incredible! There is a nurse injector, who is outstanding, but anyone who wants Dr. Piasecki to inject them can be seen by him. Both Lisa and Dr. Piasecki are outstanding. This practice is what you'd expect in a large city, not Gig Harbor. World class care (patients travel from overseas for Dr. Piasecki and Lisa), serene setting and customer service that puts the most nervous Nelly (me) at ease! Bravo, HPSC!!!

March, 2012 I had a Stage ll carcinoma removed from below my right eye. Dr. Piasecki made a large incision from below my nose, up and over my right cheek and down the front of my ear. This done in order to bring up tissue so my Rt. eye would not droop.
I was amazed that I have NO scar on any of that incision line except right @ the point of the carcinoma removal directly to the right of the top of my nose.
He knows how to inject for local anesthesia w/o any pain.
The staff, Theresa @ the front desk is one name I recall, was all so kind and helpful.
I had to call him on a Sunday after my surgery and he returned the call in about 3 minutes.
I was very relaxed and pleased w/surgery and recovery.
