According to the documentary, Walmart- the high cost of living at a low price, Walmart Corporation recieved 100 million dollars in subsity's 1.5 million dollars, to a Walmart Store in Denver Co. was enough money to keep three schools that are now closed. That's the government plan that's out there Thomas A. That's your answer about school security!

Many young people can't use computer's if they never learned or have forgotten how too. Thats a contradiction. It's also a good reason why someone should speak with an employer, at the first meeting. If they can't compile a resume' they're not looking for a job.
Wrong! Stores get hundreds of resumes that have to be sifted for what the company is looking for. There is no time to interview EVERY person applying until needed.

No one HAS to give false information on an application. The background check will uncover your lies and then your application goes in the round file. Anyone that lies will also cheat and steal. Companies don't need people of that character when there's so many good honest people out there looking for work.

You're contradicting your own statements again. Stores get 100's of resumes. Many people don't know how to fill out a resume..? People are on drugs, people that lie, steal things, but there are good people in the world?? Computer aplications are a good idea, Accept nobody has the time to talk to the people applying for the job.

100's of Walmart Stores across America from Bangor Maine to Gresham Oregon, Glendale Arizona to Brighton Bay Florida, Inglewood Ca. to Hickory N.C. have closed down because of protest after fighting with government issues of how government has allowed large corporations to distroy entire communities. A Walmart that moved 2.2 miles outside of a city, limit took away the cities tax break. Fire departments & schools closed down. Just because someone doesn't want you, in a community does that mean you're NOT going to move there? Lee Scott President C.E.O. Walmart Corporation. Yes it does!

Retired people and people looking for a second job also crowd the hiring process. You WILL get to speak to someone after they see if you're what they are looking for. Why are you so against that unless you have something you're trying to hide from your previous "job".

You want people that you sound like you know to look for a job, when communities are ruined from ideas like Walmart. Retired people crowding the computer system because they have to hope for medicaid after retirement money runs out when they can't pay for benefits. People taking second jobs because they have to feed family's on food stamps. If you think any part of that works you're sitting in your own vomit....pal!

The price of gas effected by import costs lowers the living wage by raising prices, passed on to the consumer, to cover the extra expense of delivery.

You're trying to figure out how to push a chain! Get real and try to understand that the economy is in the tank and EVERYBODY has to live within their means and do what it takes to pay bills if they want to live their old lifestyle. What makes you special?

The comments that you didn't write are the comments you chose to argue with. Someone will agree with the points that are not yours. Your points are that your too stupid to get out of your own way. It took 50 comments for you to get there.

Lets see now: People are getting hired all around you and you're not so there MUST be something wrong with the system, right? Could it be that something is wrong with you? Maybe some little something in your background, arrest records, your work history,or your attitude? Hummmmmmmm.

Your entire, point is based on sticking up your preconceived notions & blaming those anti-american preconcieved notions on somebody else. Without knowing anything about them.

The System. President Ronald Regan inherited a problem, when Jimmy Carter, had the highest lending at 21.5%. Reganomics secured a 72% rise in employment by the end of 1984. That's a system even if you didn't vote for it- it worked. Now- you're system is who not to vote for and why!

The word Reality used in [slang definition] An undereducated term of opposing opinion used to define a free style concept, away form an original meaning or phrase, to indicate negative results [Reality= get real.]

<quoted text>Child labor laws in China? Come on,get real! When sam was alive, he had both domestic and import items in the store and made "Made in the USA" program as part of his advertising but there again the American consumer reached over the domestic for the imports. Before Sam got cold in his grave, the company started restocking only what sold the most with the most profit. People flocked to Walmart like dumb cows going up a slaughter house chute and quit buying from local merchants downtown. Then the domino effect started. Little mills in little towns that supplied larger mills in larger towns started closing because the mental attitude switched to "cheaper is better" no matter where it comes from or who it hurts. These factories and mills closing didn't bother or concern people until it started hitting close to home to friends or relatives or their home town. When it finally started taking THEIR jobs, people reacted looking for something, anything,or anybody to blame for what they had participated in themselves. The American consumer opened the gate and let the cows out and they are not coming back. Something to think about when everything in your shopping cart is made in China.
Get' Real' American consumers are brainwashed on reality as a concept. The negative image of Reality' Television has nothing whatsoever to do with reality. Even Beverly Hills Ca. isnt immune, to the reality concept. And now... a message from your sponsor? Zymbolta can help! A a fifteen second idea with 22 reasons why you shouldn't use it!??? The reality program becomes just as much of an advertisment, as the drugs that people are using and being told not to use! Did Bayer Asprin go out of business or what? No thank god, american products with morals are still there. We're not being sold on that idea often enough. Banana peel lawyer's are waiting for the oppertunity, to reach [""Quote"] celebrity status' by defending someone who became a celebrity for committing 'murder' That's you're idea of Get' real"

You must be responding to some other post. Your rambling doesn't fit the topic here.

You lose track of your own thoughts.. even when someone uses the link to remind you! Effect of television & advertising on society. That's the people you discribe as working at walmart because they choose to, & then claiming, there wasn't anywhere to go except Walmart & fast food resturants- another contradiction.
