Caught within the health-care gap

There are 2 comments on the Victoria Advocate story from Dec 30, 2007, titled Caught within the health-care gap. In it, Victoria Advocate reports that:

“He's caught in between the gap of health-care”

Catch-22 may be a book or a common phrase to many, but for Larry Tamlin, it's an accurate description of his life right now. via Victoria Advocate

Your comments have missed the point. It is not the insurance company that dropped the Fireman it is "Calhoun County" that don't insure them for more than $10,000 when the first operation alone cost about $45,000. Now I ask you why should a Fireman volunteer to protect a county that don't protect the Firefighter?
