A fence would certainly make it more difficult to get to Mexico via Texas during the winter months but on the other hand it might serve to keep our artists and technical experts at home.

Never met a Canadian who wanted to do harm to the U.S.

Looking forward to spending some time in your wonderful city later on this winter.

You must not be talking to a lot of Canadian politicians. They don't have a lot good to say about the U.S. of A.

The blame is that people who want to do harm will find any way to do harm.
It's like trying to find the reasons why serial killers do what they do: the majority of people cannot understand the level of hatred some people have and how far they are going to go.

A fence would not last very long.
Those Minutemen have fences and they know how a basic fence needs to be maintained daily.

Apart from smugglers and trespassers tearing the fence, you have the harsh weather conditions like the occasional tornado, sand storms, extreme heat and cold, flash floods and wind that destroy pretty much anything in the southern border.
In the northern border, you have extreme heat and cold, wind, ice storms, snow so high that will cover any wall in the winter and flash floods. Creeks swell to become raging rivers in the spring that will wash anything away.
Fencing the USA will only contribute to littering the national parks: more troops means more people and the trash they ultimately bring with them.

The government officials in Cameron County are really not considered Texans anyway. They are Mexicans who happened to be born here.

I, for one, like it when Canadians come to the US. They actually spend money instead of sending it home. Viva la fence. Viva la ICE.

LOL.

If they even did come from Canada, since when did Canadian border agents go on the payroll of US customs and immigration?
