I love all the negative comments, they just make my day. spoiled rotten kids? hahahaa we work our butts off at the farm.
anyway to clear things up, Robyn and my Popop (Howard Linton) did not want to be included in the show. We asked but they declined to be interviewed ect and that made us pretty sad but whatever.
If anyone has their doubts on whether Freedom Hills deserved this or not, they definitely should come out during lessons and talk to the students.
oh and we had noooooo idea where they were sending us ( we didn't "choose italy" but we loved it"
Ellie, please just ignore the negative comments, they don't help anyone. Congratulations on the new house and refinished barn, they both look beautiful. I still can't believe they built that house that fast. Enjoy them and be happy.

The renovation at Freedom Hills was amazing. I am a tad envious, I have to admit. I also run a riding program for people (mostly children) with special needs. My partner (the owner) and I have remotely considered contacting Extreme Home Makeover for the same reason. We are in a very snowy and cold part of the US, and struggle through the winter months keeping the kids in therapy. We dream of an insulated arena, as well as a new ramp, that's indoors, to help mount some of the more difficult clients. A family member of the owners, has a life threatening illness and has had multiple surgerys. The family works very hard, day in and day out, they also struggle to stay afloat. I knew at some point, I'd see a show doing a job like this. It's an inspiration to me to always remember how Renee feels about the smiles on the children's faces, and the independence and "freedom" it gives them. Next time we are working, and the temperatures are in the teens, I will think of that, and not about what we don't have.

I wish you the best. I can see god has wrapped his arms around you and your family. Please ignore those that feel the need to be unfair. You know in your heart not only who you are, but where you are going. Don't let this get you down. Keep your chin up and have faith in all you do. Good for you! I hope to someday visit your place and see the great work you do.

Ellie- I watched you on the show and I thought you were very sincere. Can I explain something though? Don't think that you need to explain yourself! For one, you are so young and you far from deserve bad press. If there are adults out there giving you a hard time, all I can say is, shame on them for doing so......Second, pray for those who do. If they can not see the good that you and your family are doing there is not much you can do to change their minds...So, with that said, keep up the good work!

Ellie, don't let these people get you down. We know the truth, we know your Aunt Robyn, Poppop and Mommom's contributions. We know the hard work you and your entire family does on that farm.

To the rest of you, unless you're family and know all the details, give it a rest! Know all the facts before you pass judgement.
Look it up

Looking for a house. The Luther family house that was so un livable, that she had to have extreme home makeover come in an build her a new one, is on the market for 325,000.00 Nice… You would think she would donate it too someone that can not afford one, but no she’s all about the money.

Good on you Folks

I am appalled at the way people now a days view other people. The Home Makeover at Freedom Hills, it is embarrissing that something good happens in Cecil County. Then just to slap Cecil County in the face and to prove that we are still consider the terriable county. The son of Renee is in the paper for robbing a liquor store, not once but twice!!!!!!! What a disgrace!!!!! Then a day at the farm, You have to pay 10 dollars to go for a walk through the house that someone else footed the bill for. Makes me think she needed the money for lawyers and to keep her son out of jail. Sad thing is the people who really need help never get it because the one's who do not need it SCREW IT UP FOR THE OTHERS!!!!!

Soon there will only be one kid living in that house because her son robbed a store not to long ago and should go to jail. Its not like he doesnt have everything that he would need to go out and steal from someone is just sad. Or maybe he will be spending a lot of time in that house under house arrest!
