Artesian Water is the future of Cecil County??!!!!

Artesian Water. Hmmmm. I ate breakfast at Elkton Diner a few days ago.
Water is my beverage of choice and I normally order it without any complaints. However, it was not potable. It had a horrible taste. When I asked if this was Artesian Water, I was told that it was.
My larger concern is that Artesian was allowed to purchase sites in Cecil County without any competitive bids. That means that as urban sprawls flows over the borders into the northeastern most corner of Cecil County (contrary to the county's master plan) where I live, our wells are likely to fail eventually and we will be forced to become Artesian customers and drink this swill.
How is this corruption acceptable to residents of Cecil County? We will lose the ability to have delicious, tasteless water flow from our taps and be forced to pay (with no control over the cost) for this questionable liquid flowing from our pipes. Oh my! It appears that bottled water will be in our future.

Elkton is still making their own water, and not using the inter-connect from Artesian.
