It's funny you say that...So, does that mean that you are "for" drug addict thief's who conduct their business in grocery stores? Because if that's the case...
Also, how is he the piece of crap?! He is the one trying to keep drugs off the streets, but apparently you don't see it that way.

lmao, wow, so many ignorant, immature opinions. Funny though, the cops name has not been mentioned, yet everyone knows who is being spoken about. hmm, no one said the one ruined the town, they simply said he is abusing his badge. for that reason, he should be canned. period

You also seem to be an idiot. You're calling for someone to be "canned" in which you know nothing about. Sounds "immature and ignorant" to me. 99% of people that complain about him, are criminals. What's that tell you?! God forbid a cop is out there actually taking addicts off the streets, and doing what parents couldn't do for their own kids and make them responsible for being a f*ck up!

Just wanna say something on this officer's behalf....And this is coming from someone who was a junkie and has had run ins with this bad cop and even been arrested by him before a time or two... The world needs more police officers just like him...This guy actually cares about people....There were many times I hated him and wished he would just leave me the fuck alone... But he didn't and still doesn't to this day... I'm probably clean today because he gave me such a hard time... In hindsight, I wish more people would've given me shit like he does... Who gives a shit if he's a little rough around the edges, or goes into the gray area sometimes... he obviously knows what works, and knows how to be a part of the solution instead of the problem...This guy needs a raise instead of getting canned... Because of police officers like him, I can enjoy raising my son today and hopefully parent my child better than I was parented. People do need to step up and swallow some of the blame... If this cop was on my shit, its because I deserved it... There was a few times he probably should've punched me square in the face and didn't... He's nothing but a proffessional... He is active in his community and doesn't just believe in throwing the problem in a jail cell and forgetting about it... I can vouch for that...People need to stop talking shit about this so called bad cop... This is coming from someone who didn't always like what he had to tell me... A good cop isn't supposed to be everyone's best friend when they break the law.....

When an officer is on admin duty,he no longer has arrest authority and does admoinistraitive duties like answering the phone and paper work. He or she also is not authorized to carry a firearm in most departments.

Have a nice safe day.
Perhaps "Bad Cop" should apply at Mcdonalds, while he works on his grammar? If being a cop required intelligence, you might qualify for section 8. Bashing single mothers, who respect the law, is a sure way to win points.
Have a nice day hillblly :)

Anyone that visits other towns in this county can clearly see the result of lazy police. Move to another town if police doing their jobs bothers you. Us sober, normal people will continue to enjoy safety and peace in Rising Sun. Getting a ticket for speeding would be the least of your problems if this town were full of police that turned their heads to drugs and crime. Please be thankful that you can live in an area where you don't have to fear criminals and drug addicts and worry about your children. It could be must worse.

The reason you can safely walk our streets at night is because of the citizens not the police. Rising Sun is just an easy place to be a cop.

An easy place to be a cop? You're a moron. Get a scanner, do a few ride-alongs, see these d-bags that want to fight the police and all sorts of things, then you can talk. Until then, sit safely behind your cubicle and keep that idiotic opinion to yourself!

I never said RS was as bad as other places, douche. But people don't realize that the town isn't as easy to be a police officer as it used to be back in the day. This town is worse than people think, including you apparently....

Rising Sun police officer charged with perjury, misconduct in office
A Rising Sun police officer allegedly lied under oath while testifying during two criminal court proceedings and provided false information in an affidavit to induce a Cecil County District Court commissioner to file criminal charges in another case, according to a court document listing the misdemeanor charges against him.
The defendant, Daniel Stickney, 39, is charged with three counts of perjury — two applying to Stickney’s alleged offenses as a “witness in court” and one relating to his alleged perjury as the author of a court affidavit — and three counts of misconduct in office corresponding to the perjury charges, court records show.

He gets a bad reputation because he does his job. This man saved my life. We should embrace him and respect him. If only other cops could follow suit. This town and county needs him. Plese support him.

More like he "HAS" a bad reputation because does bad things. HELLO did u read this article? He lied under oath in two separate cases. Which means HE WAS NOT BEING TRUTHFUL IN HIS TESTIMONY! He told lies to make his cases...and now u still ask the citizens of rising sun to support him??? Wow! No officer should have to lie about a crime in which that officer placed a person under arrest why because the crime speaks for itself. If you break the law u face the consequences there no need for that officer to fabricate a story. You say he saved your life right...well if he saved you from drugs, alcohol, abusing someone or yourself then I'm sure you "HAD" a bad reputation also because you choose to make one or all of those bad decisions i listed above. What I'm simply saying is just because you work as a police officer doesn't give you the right to do whatever you please. You should be held accountable for the decisions you made just like everyone else that isn't a police officer and is charged with breaking a law. What if this were you he lied about and u were sitting in jail how would you feel? Would you still support him then?
