Cecil SPCA Advisory Committee Work Study Group to Meet Tonight at County Bldg.

At last! The CCSPCA "Work Study Group" is to meet this evening to begin discussions on what changes and improvements can be made to animal control operations at the shelter.

How can Hodge say "Dr Carletti is a conflict"? She seems to be the ONLY one in this county that does anything to help! Don't you think the trap, nueter and return program is a fantastic idea? And, it helps the population in the county? Hello????? I challenge Hodge and other commissioners to call other counties and ask them about the same program! Almost EVERY county in the state of Maryland has this program and is FUNDED to help each community. But Cecil could care less. Look at the actions of this gov't and the games and the lies!!
And I will ask again, where is the president of the SPCA board? She goes around Intimating people, hiding behind the Whig, throwing her power (that she pretends to have), and it really makes us SICK!!! AND, she claims NOT to be a "PUBLIC FIGURE". She is a waste of space and needs to RESIGN! She needs to stay out of our business and move on...I would love to know what she has on some of these people???
Hodge is very unprofessional for trying to exclude Dr. Carletti, don't you think ???
Since the list of the "work study group" is so LARGE, how long is this going to take ??

What……Dr. Carletti would be a “conflict of interest” in regards to the trap neuter and return program??! Come on Hodge, use the little brain you might have. That is what the task force needs are ideas to better that horrible no good place (sad to even call it a SPCA). They postponed the picking to better look into people, well hello Hodge you didn’t do too well with that. Conflict of interest, what about Belinda Reynolds, former employee of the SPCA in 1994-1995, left because of what was happening and didn’t open her mouth to say anything then. Also, what is the deal with Howard Isenberg being on the committee? He is with Family Services of Cecil County, who deals with people. Last I knew the SPCA was about animals, not people, so why is he there? What can he bring to the table? Furthermore, I knew him through work when I worked in Elkton and he is a total azz. Oh maybe that’s why Hodge picked him, one azz knows another. This whole thing is making me sick. The commissioner, the board, someone can do something and they are not. Why? Something is wrong with this, someone is covering something and/or afraid of someone; but what. There is a piece of the puzzle that is missing. I understand that some commissioners are trying, however, they need to push Hodge a little harder to get something done.

hi all…. just became very sickened by the sight of doc mcdermott driving down the road towards work, with his big dufues looking dog in his car (he also takes his poor dog radar to work everyday and throws him in the kennels)his ex-wife didn’t want to give the dog to him..gee…i wonder why? she would be mortified to know that he is down there everyday around the other dogs most who have kennel cough. i feel horrified along with many others knowing he is still hacking up poor innocent animals down there at that slaughter house. i know from close sources people are still being questioned by the vet baord so his license will be no more soon.. i hate that it is taking so long.. but it is a huge relief that he will never legally be able to mutilate any more helpless animals under the guides of being a “vet” i urge anyone that hasn’t filed a complaint against him for negligence,and botched surgeries ( there are many recorded) any so called vet that can’t spay a dog but still felt the need to cut the poor dog open for no reason is sick and needs to have a phyc evaluation and treatment to say the least! i have been getting the word out via flyers and e-mails about his hack jobs, and needless deaths at his hands and have recently gotten phone calls from the flyers with new people coming forward that have had medical medevial things being done by doc gregory mcdermott lets keep the focus on him

I am NOT "Back At Ya Doc" !! I am very vocal and say waht I believe in...period. I do not care what people think! All I know is the SPCA stuff is a mess!
The taskforce is a JOKE and a STALL!! I do however, support Dr. Carletti and that is that!

Just Beware!
I handed proof of Sheriffs Corruption to the Cecil Whig that was not printed.
The County Commissioners will not respond even as Maryland Governor O'Malley is sending correspondence to them regarding the matter.

When you have a CORRUPT SHERIFFS ADMINISTRATION, and a PAPER AND COMMISSIONERS that do not care about dishonesty / corruption, descent honest people have an uphill battle.

So good luck with any attempt to do the right thing in Corrupt Cecil County.

I am not in anyway "yelling at you"! I am just disgusted that this county is corrupted and could give a damn about this SPCA issue. I am not attacking you, okay? And please do not say I have problems, you do not know me? And how can you say I have nothing to do with the animals? Like I said, you DO NOT KNOW ME at all, thats for sure! I have rescued over 30+ dogs in this county on my own, without the SPCA. You should know this if you read Smigiels blog. I am "Melanie" and that is that.
