Port Charlotte canals

Somehow I think if I move to one of the houses on a Port Charlotte canal..I'll be able to sit out on my back porch having breakfast lunch or dinner, watching all the boats gently glide by....Or, casually ride our bikes down all those flat roads, and of course enjoy all the local programs set up for retiree's...Is that about the size of it? Anyone have experiences like that?

Only if you are a real estate agent trying to sell a line of BS in the form of a question!

Yes "that is about the size of it", but also great fishing from your back yard, red fish, trout, drum and many more, my with and I also use our bikes to go to the grocery store and post office, and walks over bridges with great views of the Peace River, with Manatee and Dolphin swimming, and yes I live in Port Charlotte on a canal and I not a Realtor.

Canals or open sewers, no difference. You can watch the toilet paper flow to the poisonous gulf dump of Mexico. Who eats the sewer fish from those open muck streams?
