No sir. You have in no way whatsoever "got it".

Feel free to keep trying though, it'd be neat if someone like you finally were to "get it".

The thing is whites are and always have been a huge majority in the US. If whites strictly voted for whites, blacks only voted for blacks, Asians only voted for Asians, ETC.; whites would be the only candidates to ever hold office. While plenty of people would be just fine with that(white, black and other), I imagine at least a few blacks would find that pretty friekin' objectionable.
If the situation were reversed--a white minority in a predominately black country--most whites would vote for the white candidate simply because of his whiteness. Especially if he was the very first white guy to be nominated after 200+ years of one black guy after another. That's not simply racism, that's human nature.
As far as blacks' history of blind loyalty to the Democratic party--that's plain ol' fashioned stupidity. The Democrats have always been open and honest about their anti-black agenda, from the days of defending their right to enslave blacks, through their rabid and sometimes violent opposition to The Civil Rights Movement, right on up to their current strategy of oppression through the welfare state, the Democratic party has made their contempt for the blacks crystal clear. Yet black people keep giving them their vote in exchange for a few crumbs from the Democrat buffet.
I've been called a racist for nothing more than stating the truth as I see it. Yet I have never in my life done anything to harm or hold back anyone because of their color.
I disagree. I don't think that whites would vote in somebody just because they are white if we were a minority. I also think that blacks are politically ignorant. Most don't follow the news or politics. Hey, I was born into a Democrat household, so I'll vote Democrat when I get older. They are not educated to even understand what the Democrat party is really about or how they continually screwed the black community.

Yeah, I know I sound racist, but I live in a very diverse suburb of Cleveland. I'm a landlord and use Craigslist to find potential tenants--many of them black. The e-mail replies I get are frightening. Some I can't even respond to because I don't know WTF they are trying to tell me.

For many of them, their punctuation and grammar are on a third grade level. I really don't believe they know how to use spell check features on their computer. Simple four letter words are misspelled. From time to time, I entertain myself by personally interviewing them. I often bring up the schools in the area to start a conversation on education. Believe it or not, these people have a high school diploma.

Most have a low income, and I couldn't rent to them anyway. They work at fast food restaurants and places like that. If their second grade writing skills stop me from contacting them about renting an apartment, how do they get a descent job???? They can't. An employer takes one look at their application and tosses it into the shredder. Who can blame them?

Not exactly, it was Harry Truman who established a Presidential committee on Civil Rights to end discrimination against blacks, he ordered the end of discrimination in the military in 1948. At the Democratic National Convention in 1948 a plank proposed by Northern Democrats calling for civil rights, the southern delegates (Dixicrats) promptly walked out. The move was on to remove Truman's name from the ballot in the South.

The southern Democrats, better known as Dixicrats, believed in segregation of the races and the racial integrity of each race; the constitutional right to choose one's associates; to accept private employment without governmental interference, and to earn one's living in any lawful way. They declared: We oppose the elimination of segregation, the repeal of miscegenation statutes, the control of private employment by Federal bureaucrats called for by the misnamed civil rights program. We favor home-rule, local self-government and a minimum interference with individual rights.

The Democrats lost the South to the Republicans and the Dixicrats disappeared within the Republican Party as can be witnessed to this day!

Yes, it is removed, but not from the black race of course. They refer to each other by that name all the time. Of course, it's okay when they do it.

Your assumption is completely wrong whether you based it on one comment, or just a few.

HOWEVER, it IS the Republicans in Congress who are trying to kill us off by cutting programs designed to save us, keep us fed, keep us in our homes, etc. YEAR AFTER YEAR, so they ARE evil.
ItÂ’s the liberals who fight for our survival, trying to push through bills, giving speeches day after day, year after year.
ItÂ’s that never-ending battle between good and evil which forces people to pick a side. ItÂ’s simple-minded idiots who miss that, and itÂ’s evil people who reject the idea of good and evil, making excuses for evil deeds and people.

The Elite are ego-maniacal and think they can get away with anything, but they skroo up everything, and are very much afraid of the idiot masses waking up and demanding that the Fed stockholders be prosecuted for treason.

Lmao! Apparently in your eyes, the Democrats playing Robin Hood makes them your saving Heroes. In reality, they are the equivalent of social drug dealers, getting you hooked on free goodies so that you eventually need them to survive or get buy.

You surprise me. Being a conspiracy guy and all, you should realize that it's the Democrats that want as many Americans dependent on government as possible. The more government dependents, the more Democrat voters. It's a more complex way to have servitude without actually calling it slavery.

Now we have a society where the non-working lazy eat better than many working Americans, have larger families than many working Americans, have better healthcare for their family than many working Americans, even childcare that many working Americans can't afford.

The Republicans only want a more level playing field. Or can you explain the justice in working Americans having less than good for nothing lazy Americans?
Bingo! I agree with everything you stated here except, I feel a qualifier is needed for the public education statement. All public schools are not created equal. IMO, small town rural public schools have a much better track record than big city public schools. I do agree, for the most part, private schools are preferable.

Understood and I agree. But in the big picture, public schools are expensive and a failure. It's just that libs love and defend public education and I like to rub it in once in a while. LOL!

If you pick and choose your sources.

This woman would disagree with you. http://minorityrepublican.com/2012/11/27/wher...

You speak of the Dixiecarats as-if it was a major movement. It wasn’t. As the Dixiecrats grew older they died and the Dixiecrats faded away. They’re gone. As Kruetz indicated most returned to the Democratic Party.

Once again, you’re wrong.

Don’t make me laugh you’re a pathetic rightwing hack! A quick history lesson:

The Civil Rights Act of 1964.
The bill was called for by President John F. Kennedy in his civil rights speech of June 11, 1963. Kennedy met with the Republican leaders prior to his television address that night to discuss the legislation. They voiced support for the president's bill except for provisions guaranteeing equal access to places of public accommodations.

The original House version of the bill:
Democratic Party: 152–96 (61–39%)
Republican Party: 138–34 (80–20%)

Cloture in the Senate:
Democratic Party: 44–23 (66–34%)
Republican Party: 27–6 (82–18%)

It’s a tired and old Republican argument that racism no longer exists, and if it does, the Democrats are responsible, because of "reverse racism" and (even more incredibly) that Democrats are the "party of slavery and racism." Ignoring the fact that white segregationist Democrats in the South were right-wing reactionary a-holes, like Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms who switched to the Republican Party when the Democrats ceased to be the party of "states rights" (code for segregation)!

Who said racism no longer exists? Only in your mind. Besides, what does that have to do with Dixiecrats?

States’ rights is code for segregation?

What I said about Dixiecrats is absolutely true. You’re a simpleton.

While it is fair to say that a handful of Republicans took leading roles in the civil rights measures of 1964, even though they had far fewer seats, and thus less power, at the time. The GOP, in general, never warmed up to civil rights, the large Republican vote totals for the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act were not replicated in other key civil rights battles, such as an earlier one relating to fair employment practices in 1949 and 1950 and a subsequent one on fair housing in 1966.
