It's the "Not in my backyard" folks that give the electric companies the ammunition they need to push for building big ugly and Poluting coal fired power plants in this country! That's happening right now here in Michigan with Consumers Power Co.
Consumers wants to build two Coal plants and their not even needed. That way, in the future they can say "we don't need to build renewable power, we already have all the power we need."

When we drive up to our cottage in Caseville, we pass those windmill farms on the way up, and all I can think is, "What an eyesore."

Daily Horoscope for December 2

Capricorn

The Gemini Full Moon brings situations at work to a head; there may be a sudden event that shakes up the office, but you should be free and clear of any real trouble. The real issue is the one you have most likely been avoiding: what sort of state is your health in? Have you been buying larger pants each year for the past three or four years in a row? Is your idea of strenuous exercise scooping hard ice cream out of the carton? If so, it's time for some changes.
