actually, NO ONE knows when the world will end read the bible only god knows when it will end it could be tomorrow it could be december 21 2012 or it could billions years later (doubt it since were in a depression) and the world is slowly getting worse. look at the signs of the world ending and you'll see that there happing now

In the Bible God said that he NEVER was going to destroyed the world again, only a 1/3 of it, I believe think it was. Alot of things are superstitions. The truth is a person is more likely to die from extreme heat, lightening, tornado, diseases, car accident, by fire in your own home, etc. So, don't sweat it, and just do the best you can each day. The greatest gift is love, so work on this one with each other.

P.S. All this "end of days/end of the world" spoken around our children, gives them hope to do what if they are led to believe they have no future??? My Mom was born around the turn of the century (1909) said some people were talking like that back then, and before. Southern churches were always good for preaching that. Especially the good old pentecostal church. Which is radical fundamentalist extreme, and dangerous, especially to children, whether kids hear it right in church itself, or from their parents! Oh brother.
