Sounds like somebody is getting free stuff...! Having spent a lazy Friday afternoon with some friends sitting in the blazing, hot sun coming through the huge windows waiting for my "fish fry" I can't say I share the writers opinion.
My fish plate contained several small, too crispy pieces of fish, a small cup of "salad" (shredded. raw cabbage), and what was suposed to be potatoes. I had a "house" beer with my dinner. My tab was almost 20 bucks.- To make matters worse the din of the jabber of the other diners (LLBean, and Brooks Brothers models) was almost too much...
A Friday fish fry in Wisconsin is a rite of passage for new comers and a staunch ritual for locals. I must confess if I have had a worse fish fry I simply can't remember it!
I guess if you drive a BMW, have an annual income of 6 figures, and your favorite house slippers are Johnson & Murphy "after hours" you might find this joint interesting. If you have traveled at all, & if you are the least interested in getting a good meal for a fair price this is definately not the place for you. More than the minnoow was angry...
p.s.- I have to admit the service was good. Poor lass. Sure hope she doesn't quit her day job...!
