Someone NOT wanting a tatoo is an idiot? Well, go ahead and start calling me an idiot then. I don't want a tatoo either. Why would I for example want a rose bud tatoo today that will look like a longstem rose when I'm old? Umm nope. LOL

Have you noticed everyone you meet with hep c has a tattoo?

Why is that? Is it from the tattoo or just from the behavior it represents?

Tattered Soul is a great shop. John and Danny both do fantastic work. I've gotten several of mine from them. They have recently limited the hours they work, though, so it might take some time to get an appointment. It's totally worth the wait though.

Also, while I think getting a tat is a personal choice and there's nothing wrong with not getting one, it is incredibly rude to insult those who do. Every tat I have means something special to me, and even if they distort when I get older, the meaning will still be there.

I know of no one with a tat that has hep c! I have tattoos and am a working mom of 4 grown children respected by others. I don't care for them all over where you can't cover them up if you wanted but each his own but I love mine had them 20 years thinking of getting another!

Yes but the people with hep c that I have worked with over the years has to be in the high 90 percent with tattoos.

Not saying everyone with tattoos is infected but by observation there does seem to be a connection with tats and hep. I don't know if it is the tats that are to blame or if it is associate behavior.

I would say they did not all get hep from tattoos but why is the percentage so high?

Anyone with any talent is going to go where the money is, and that ain't here. That leaves some second/third rate ink artists and jailhouse leftovers.

I'll also vouch for Tattered Soul. The fact they have rules for no excessive profanity and no children running loose in the shop is a big plus as is their rules for not doing any racist or antireligious work. Even before they had shorter hours you had to book ahead to get an appointment. It's a good sign when you have to wait in line to get your work done and you're not walking into an empty shop.

For the people discussing Hep C and reasons not to get a tattoo you've made the exact post on every thread about body art. We get it, you don't like it.

ok, we get it that you dont like tattoos!!! So you dont have to get one!
We respect that; now you need to respect others decisions to have them.
The only character defect I can see, is yours for being such a judgemental, opinionated and over bearing personality.
