The Brookreson Family are one of the greatest families of this community. They have always been the kindest and nicest people. Mike has handle my daughter's divorce and did a great job and was always there for her. Kudos to Mike. Jasper and his son don't have the greatest reputation as being good people.

You are correct that the Brookerson family has been here forever, and is well-regarded. That is irrelevant, however, in this context. Mike B. has NEVER once tried a case despite being a lawyer for 10-plus years. When a trial looms ahead, he tries to settle or get rid of the client. When he gets Jasper, Matt, or Sam Spain to take over the case.

Ask Mike B. to provide you with documentation/evidence of just one case he has personally seen through to trial. He has settled, quit, or given ever case requiring trial to the Edmunsons

to justanopinion do you know mikey well enough to know he sleeps with little girls this is a fact she was fourteen when he slept with her and there's more. Mikey you really don't have to pat yourself on the back at least tell the truth. I do understand that your family is very respectable but there is always a bad seed in the bunch that would be you.

Great idea if you have the extra $. You might find that your results will not be significantly better. Despite all the bashing around here, there are several very smart lawyers in PB, including some whose names you just don't see mentioned, that have won big cases, but more importantly, steer their clients around legal troubles. In the long run, that is the cheapest and best way. One of my friends recently won a big case against a major company here. He fired his first lawyer a couple of years into it. The second one won, but told my friend that they would not have gone through several years of litigation to win if they had properly handled the deal in the first place.

Go with John Clark he knows how the criminal system works he is a crook himself. He was a joke of a judge that stole from the county.

Let's not forget ladies & gentlemen that several years back, Matt Richardson stole the city judgeship away from another man who was supposed to be taking that position. The guy was originally from Poplar Bluff, had a practice in Malden, and was coming back to take the position.

It's easy to get blood out of a "turnip" when you substitute a beet. He just says the beets are turnips to fool the dimwits.

I believe the commenter was speaking to JURY trials, which I think are far more complicated. The word around town is that Mike B. never has and never will handle a jury trial without help from someone capable, such as Jasper, Matt, or Sam Spain.
