I've never felt comfortable with any OB/GYN til just recently. I was wanting to get put back on birthcontrol, and my only option was an IUD, due to having high blood pressure and really bad side effects with the Depo shot after 5 years. The only one that would even consider it was Dr. Lemmons at Cape Care for Women. She's amazing. She's really nice, and really knows what she's talkin about. When I started to pass out after the procedure she was right there and hollering for her nurses (she was prego and couldn't really do much to keep me from falling). I would definately reccomend driving over there. As far as I know all of their doctors in that office are female other than one male.
I just started seeing dr lemmons and i do like her alot. i would recommend going to cape also, i had dr carda in the past and had to hace c sections and she totally screwed me up!

Dr. Jones is my pick... wouldnt go to anyone else. He delivered my 3 children and was wonderful. Always made me comfortable and also took the time to sit there and listen to what i needed to say. He never rushed me or tried to hurry out of our visit!!Matter of fact always kicked back and took the time, He is awesome!!!!

Dr. Carrie Carda , she delivered my two girls and was great. She is down to earth and great to talk to. She always was really nice and took time to listen to me and I think she really cares about her patients!! Everyone was telling me to go to Dr. Patty but you can't get in there and someone said it's always a long wait.

Dr. Jones completely ignored me. I went to see him in my first trimester. I was having problems with depression and diarrhea. All he wanted to talk about was constipation and morning sickness. Oh, and he also told me that I didn't need to bother with prenatal vitamins... and did so without any dialog on my regular diet or nutritional profile! What a quack. He just wants to treat every woman the same with a total disregard for individual differences or concerns.

I use Dr. Patty and he is awesome. The best Dr. anyone could have. True, he is very busy and I have had to cancel some appts. but that's b/c he is the best! He delivered my daughter 2 yrs ago and afterwards I had some problems and he knew exactly what it was. Thanks Dr. Patty. You're the best!!!

I decided a few months ago to go to St. Louis to have my baby. You are right about the doctors in this area. I am totally pleased with my new doctor now!

Dr Jones delivered my baby a week and half ago. Throughout my pregnancy he and his staff were beyond awesome, I had a premature birth previously (different dr) because of that I was slightly paranoid about...oh pretty much everything. Neither he nor his staff ever got impatient with me for the calls with odd questions, that would be classified as 'normal pregancy issues'. At my appointments he never rushed me, always willingly and thoroughly answered my questions and addressed my concerns. We ended up taking the baby 2 weeks early via c-section b/c of my blood pressure and other labor issues. I felt entirely comfortable and confident in his abilities. He explained to us what was happening and what our options were, told us what he thought we should do and why. He didn't leave out Kevin or my family who was with me. My surgery went extremely well, with in a few days I was up and moving like normal. He checked on me everyday while I was in the hospital 4 days total. He was extremely supportive in my decision to go without meds for the delivery (until it was taken out of my hands by the c-section). Compassionate about the loss of the previous baby and how it affected me and how it affected this pregnancy.

As for the prenatal thing... that seriously surprises me. He and I discussed the importance of prenatal vitamins, and my diet. Even before my blood pressure became an issue. I'm very surprised by that comment, and in my own as well as those around me who used him a little skeptical.

And the wait. The first time I saw Dr Jones was for my girlie checkup, at that time he was sharing an office with Dr Patty and I waited 3 hrs past my appt time. When I got preg with Abbi, he had moved to the coppertop, I waited more than 30 mins only one time, and that day the receptionist had called me and told me that I'd prolly have to wait b/c he had to go and deliver a baby. I only waited an hour that time. Any other appt, I didn't wait over 30 mins. And honestly, I'm ok with waiting for him to go and deliver a baby...as I spent all day in labor myself, I'd like to know that my dr will come when I'm ready to have that baby, as opposed to whenever he's done with patients that AREN'T in labor.

I used DR. Hoja as my ob Dr. I went into labor and Dr. Hoja was called for 4 hours and know answer. Dr. Jones was exercising the nurses called him in to deliver my daughter. And trust me when you are in pain you want to have a very kind, gentle and very handsome man delivering your baby. Dr. Hoja in my opinon is a old horny man that likes all women. I heard he is on drugs as well. As well for his nurses they are all great!

Sounds like you got hot& horny looking at Old Jonesy. Trust me,wear a glove if you touch his love. Don't kiss him, cause his breath always smells like tunafish-lol!Give it up for those guys, they love the look, the feel, the smell (& according to the nurses he sexes-Jonesy loves the taste)of your dirty snatch.Dr.Patty,good thing he's getting married-sweet man but he's got a 5 incher and NO game. The other two are both rumored to be EXCELLENT in bed,and Hoja, despite his MANY faults(he was on drugs but has replaced chasing getting high with chasing poontang),is rumored to have a fat trouser snake and a magical hand. All the many, many he has married or sexed say he IS a cheating bastard, but he his "Big Mike"will ruin you for other men.
Jonesy, they say isn't little, not Hoja big,but he is as agile as the Kama Sutra and has a tongue like a lizard, and he is an energizer bunny .
I have never heard anything bad about them as doctors, except on Topix, but I have a female gyno.I'm not having kids yet,and I sure don't want any by these doc's,they are neither one young anymore, not cute at all and both are balding-dealbreakers for me!I don't judge those who are wanting some or had some,I just prefer monogamy.
Don't want no loving in stirrups.
Need to know

dr carda is a great dr. I haven't heard anything about Hoya- I have heard a lot of negative about carda-but if it wasn't for her- my son and I would not be alive today.
