More Bad News: they are about to lose the best cook they have ever had- the last person who gives a crap about the food and the customers is moving on after years of trying to make them successful. Now what?

I love the food at Castellos it not just good , it's fresh and different, made by a real chief not just a short order cook or a nukamatic . Yes that means it's slow . Anyone accustomed to a real restaurant knows it not fast food . you want fast go to Mc.d's . This is a nice date restaurant it shows class . I like the wine rack too except I feel like I am eating in the middle of a liquor store kind of a mood crusher unless your a booze hound .

my point was not that they "just" opened. i was pointing out that they were a "new" restaurant in the holiday inn. you still would expect a little excitement and a grand opening, but there wasn't much grand about it. bj and andrea ran andrea's into the ground. why do you think the tinsley's ever got involved to begin with?

I think that Costello's is very nice. Most people in this town are not accustom to fine dinning and it does take awhile to cook things to order. I would rather wait on my food than to have food that sits under heating laps for hours. you get what you pay for.

I've never had to eat food that's sat under heating laps. How exactly does that work? The waitress sits your food on her legs the rest of it's ready? I'm glad Costello's is not using heating laps. Seems unsanitary.

I have frequented both and as mentioned before the wine rack is in the middle of a liquor store between the beer and liquor and wine . While you may not find people going back and fourth to and from the beer cooler a poor setting for a restaurant most people will disagree . While the Wine rack does have good different food it is still more of a short order type place in the middle of a liquor store . So to say Castello's non liquor store atmosphere "has nothing on the Wine Rack " is very short sited or perhaps your sight is obstructed by the large racks of liquor HAHAHAHA !

Castellos' hasn't had a good chef there in years. They had one there several months ago that could have really turned the place around, but he was injured in a car accident. Most of their stuff is pre-made, food costs are out of control. It's really too bad...
