BB Dodge in Dexter leaves something to be desired. Didn't have any problems with the Salesman but the Service Department is a joke to say the least. This is from my own personal experience. Everybody that works in the services department only knows how to lie & they lie to cover up the previous lies. Definitely do not KNOW how to repairs, recalls & damn sure knows NOTHING about customer service. Would NEVER recommend buying a car or attempting to get any repairs.

I've bought several vehicles from Larry Hillis over the years, and have always received a fair deal AND very good service after the sale.

I bought a truck there. I can tell you that we probably won't buy another vehicle there. I am less than impressed with their service department, or their customer service for that matter. And what's up with the customer survey calls? I had to call out there and ask the dealership to stop giving our number to their survey people.

What does BUYING the vehicle there have to do with the service department?
Also, if their customer service skills were lacking the one time you were there, could it be that they were having an extra busy day?
BTW, customer survey calls are an integral way of finding out how to provide you with better service and better products...But for pete's sakes, complain about them, so you won't be bothered with that again!

I took my Jeep there for a recall and they told me I needed new spark plugs......I had them changed 2 days before.....just b/c I was a girl they tried to rip me off.

Buying a BRAND new vehicle has a lot to do with the service dept. I like to have my vehicles serviced at the dealership where they are supposed to qualified to repair a vehicle that they sold to me, but if you go in for an oil changed and they put the wrong weight in for the motor you have and becase I am a girl they tried to tell me it would be fine. umm.. NO..

And as for their customer phone surveys - one call would be fine but they called every phone number we had listed in the systems and they did so at irregular times. I had even already answered their questions, in a nice and calm manner the first time.

As for service in the sales dept. it was ok. And for the record they weren't busy - it was raining cats and dogs and more sales people were out smoking than were actually helping customers. My two biggest complaints were about information on the vehicle I bought which I will not post here because I have already complained to the sales person, and someone else there and they didn't care.

I also never said this was the first time I have done buiness there so you assume something you didn't know.

I can complain because I am an unhappy customer and it is my right. For the record I have complained about other businesses in and around our area I did not just decided to pick on them. I think it is a good thing to get other opinions from people in area, so if someone posts asking and I have a opinion whether it be negative or positive I will let them know.
