BTW, Ive been diagnosed with Fibro-myalgia and diabetic neuropothy as well as arthritis already.
What kind of pain med do you take? I have been to both of the soeters and have tried everything they offered. They tried the shots and let me tell you when Yuli gave them, they hurt soo freakin bad. And I didnt like him at all. I have 4 buldging disks,a herniated disk and a disk that is torn completly in half. I have scoliosis and neuropathy. and ostoarthritis. and finally my lower spine is crumbling. I'm only in my 30's and don't know from day to day wether I can walk when I get up out of bed. They treated me like I was a junkie. The only thing I wanted was some relief from my pain. I finally went to Advanced Pain Center and seen Naushaud. I seen him for about 4 years and he started giving me meds every month along with a urine test every month which I had no problem with at all. And then I had gotten really sick and went to my primary dr. My primary doc gave me antibiotics and cough syrup. Well then my next visit at advanced I had a urine test done and it came back positive for Hydros. And I knew that I dont take those, so he fired me. I had my primary doc call and explain. And he didnt care. that was the same month that I gotten personal insurance instead of medicaid. And nothin we said mattered. He just cut me off of them. and I done everything by the book, like I was supposed to. and because I didnt know the cough syrup had hydro in it, he fired me. so that was it. I dont like the way they do things. I was very honest. I never went to another dr for anything. And when I went to my primary doc I always called Naushaud and informed them. Well so much for being honest. So I can see where ppl get pissed off at these drs. When you do everything your supposed to do and you still get screwed in the end. I'm supposed to have surgury on my back, but I have a 50 to 60 percent chance of being paraylised. So its kinda scary, what is a person to do. So ppl that get meds and dont take them like they are supposed to and end up selling them piss me off.

Help me - this is getting old. your lost of your sister is awful. How long was she strung out on drugs? You making a fuss about doc's giving out pain med. What about us that need it? Your only causing it harder for us to get our med. Your sister is the blame for decent ppl not to get pain med because she was a no-good junkie that lied to get high. And u knew that she was a junkie you should have contacted her doc and told him instead of waiting untill she died to make a fuss. Your sister was an addict, I am a patient that need my meds. Get over it and move on.

HELLO GUEST---

I APOLOGIZE IF YOU FEEL LIKE MY MISSION TO SAVE THE LIVES OF PRESCRIPTION ADDICTS IS ANNOYING. MY INTENTIONS ARE NOT TO ANNOY OR BE BOTHERSOME BUT RATHER AS I HAVE SAID FROM THE BEGINNING TO IMPRESS UPON PEOPLE HOW URGENT AND SERIOUS THIS ISSUE IS.

THE LAST THING I WANT TO DO IS FURTHER PREVENT THOSE WITH LEGITIMATE PAIN MANAGEMENT CASES FROM RECEIVING TREATMENT. BUT YOU ARE MISTAKEN ABOUT MY EFFORTS.

IF I CAN GET ENOUGH SUPPORT (WHICH IS GOING REMARKABLY WELL) TO IMPRESS UPON THE SENATE AND HOUSE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH A PMP THEN IT WILL BE INCREASINGLY MORE EASY FOR SICK PATIENTS TO RECEIVE THE TREATMENT NECESSARY FOR THEM TO LEAD PRODUCTIVE LIVES.

A PMP WOULD ALLOW A DR. TO ESSENTIALLY COVER HIS OWN REAR BY CHECKING TO VERIFY THAT YOU ARE NOT AN ADDICT BEFORE PRESCRIBING NARCOTICS TO YOU. IT WOULD ALSO PROVIDE PROOF TO YOUR DOCTOR THAT YOU ARE LEGITIMATELY IN PAIN AND THAT HE IS YOUR ONLY PRACTITIONER THUS GIVING HIM PEACE OF MIND IN PURSUING YOUR PAIN MANAGEMENT TREATMENT.

AS FAR AS YOUR INSULT THROWN AT MY SISTER. SHE WAS AN ADDICT BUT SHE WAS NOT "NO GOOD" AS YOU PUT IT. SHE WAS KIND AND HAD A HUGE HEART AND THOUGHTFUL AND WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU THE SHIRT OFF HER BACK WITHOUT THINKING TWICE. AND YES SHE WAS SICK. THE SOONER THAT PEOPLE START TO RECOGNIZE ADDICTION FOR WHAT IT IS, A SICKNESS, THE LESS STIGMA THERE WILL BE ATTACHED TO SEEKING TREATMENT. PLEASE THINK ABOUT THAT.

NO ONE CHOOSES TO BE AN ADDICT. IT IS A MISERABLE EXISTENCE. BEING AN ADDICT IS NOT LIKE BEING A THIEF. ITS NOT A CHOICE. ADDICTION IS AN ILLNESS. IN OTHER WORDS SOBRIETY IS ADDICTION IN REMISSION.

AND AS FAR AS TALKING TO HER DOCTOR.... WE DID. READ MY OTHER POSTS. ALL THE DETAILS ARE THERE. JUST QUERY HELPME-MISSINGMYSISTER IN THE POPLAR BLUFF FORUMS SEARCH ENGINE.

AND FINALLY DEAR GUEST, I WILL NEVER GET OVER LOSING MY OLDER SISTER, NO MATTER HOW SHE DIED. AND WELL I AM MOVING ON OR AT LEAST MOVING FORWARD THE BEST WAY I KNOW HOW. SORRY IF IT ANNOYS YOU.

SINCERELY,

MISSING MY SISTER

Dr Soeter does not believe in hydrocodone for pain relief. Dr Joshi is a good pain management doctor. I agree though, chronic pain has to be taken care of, I would suggest Dr Joshi. That way, he gets to know you and understands your pain, and will work with you, trying to lay out a plan of care that fits just you. Try him.

Dr DK Varma or Dr Kim are excellent legal drug pushers in our fine town of PB
Both dispense out of their offices so you are less likely to get "LOCKED OUT" on your state card
will accept cash as well if this does happen

Dr. Kim does not have a pharmacy in his office.

That doesn't work for everyone either. I hadn't smoked it in 15 years but did actually try it when i was in severe pain versus taking pain medication...it didn't do anything for me but make me dizzy and hungry. I didn't like it.
Where did you get it? Your son?

Okay, If you are in that severe of pain, then you should already have a doctor treating you. narcotic pain meds are not the answer to your problems. They are a quick fix that cause addiction. There are many causes to chronic pain such as depression. Depression can cause your entire body to feel out of sorts. My suggestion is you seek counseling to get to the root of your problem. Pain meds only temporarly relieve pain.

Quit asking people for a pain med doctor. It sounds to me like you are searching for street pain meds. And, if you read other topix post, Dr. Varma just got busted!
