So they have this new rule where if you have 5 people shopping with you, and you buy alcohol for yourself, you have to provide them with ID's for EVERYONE. What kind of crap is this? I went in there with a friend who is nearing his 30s and he left his ID at home and I wasn't even allowed to buy the bear for myself! I don't even live in Poplar Bluff, so I said I'd take him home and come back... OH NO, NO, NO!! Can't do that... they done seen me with an old man who couldn't prove his old age at the time, so I am not allowed to buy beer for the rest of the night... HOW STUPID IS THAT?? They will sure lose business.

They sell beer and liquor all over town, so just quit buying your beer and toilet paper at the same time.

It doesn't matter if you only have one other person with you. They said they can card everyone.

Any intelligent person who buys alcohol should know that when you have ANYONE else with you they are subject to being ID'd too, so why are you crying about it? Drive your hillbilly a$$ down to the bottle shop and buy your booze there!

They will not miss ur business .don't know why people even use that scare tactic with them . chances are you will be back there for some reason soon.I don't think this is a new thing . I've heard of it before . it's the law and their just going by it . I don't know why your blaming the store for it,

Okay, I actually work at walmart, and the only time we are to card the whole party or to refuse to sell alcohol to someone is if it looks as if they are providing alcohol to a minor or if the person is to intoxicated. Our rule is, if you look younger than 40 we have to card you, if you don't like it then go somewhere else when we refuse and just dont take the other person in. We get so many people coming in trying to buy alcohol for minors, so it's protocol. I'm sorry.

Actually if they card you or the whole group well then show your cards or go on . nobody that works there has to put their job on the line for you .the person working there will make the judgement call to card you or not . if you don't like it go some where else . It's the law and it will do you no good to argue with it .anybody that looks forty and under there's a big chance you might get carded !!!!!!! think about it .

If an older person comes in with a group of people whom look like they are under age then it kinda makes them look like they are providing it to the younger people. Sorry, but we aren't going to put our jobs on the line just to satisfy you, if you don't like that you can't buy your drinks at Walmart because we actually card someone then go somewhere else. Sorry.
