Has anyone heard the rumor that the nail company is closing and shipping jobs to Mexico ? It will be after the election is what people are sayin. So much for the promises of Republicans creatin jobs, if the rumor is true. Cant blame him for selling and making money, but its bs to run for office and be promising jobs.

You are so full of crap. That is not happening. Start some rumor with someone else rather than people who try to help others. The nail factory is not moving in fact they are growing and Doug Libla is running for office to try and stop the bullcrap that is turning our country into a Socialist governed nation. PERIOD!!!

He's "helping" no one but himself. There is no way the Mexicans he sold out too will keep this plant open for long. As sure as the illegals continue flowing in here the owners will take the jobs back to Mexico where they are based. If you'd stop and use your brain for once you'd understand. Hold your tongue for a couple of years and you'll see

Doug Libla is a good person who I have rented a house from. He is the most honest landlord I have known, and he has my vote!

If you knew anything about the company that bought Mid Continent Nail then you would that they are not just a company in Mexico. They are located in 20 different countries and manufacture just about anything that has to do with steel. From I beams, to barb wire to nails. They already have a nail plant in Mexico and are not interested in moving another one there. They bought this one because they are wanting to move into the U.S. and make nails here. Mid Continent Nail is centrally located which logistically makes sense especially for someone wanting to get started here. And just so you know......the new owners are not Mexican. They are from Spain. A completely different country.
