I like the idea of plays in the theater, but the Rodgers needs to bring some out of town play production groups too! Like the ones that travel doing different shows. Why is the Rodgers only renting out to that one play company? Stage company doesn't own the theater, they only rent it. Rodgers Theater and the stage company are two separate organizations.

Ron is a really good actor, but there are others in the stage company who are also really good actors.

There have been other stage plays, other than those produced by The Stage Company presented in the Rodgers Theater. The Stage Company,Inc. is the Official Resident Performing Arts Group for The Rodgers Theater as approved by Rodger's Theater, Inc.

Official Resident Performing Arts Group? Do you just mean a local group that rents it on a regular basis from The Rodgers? What makes it official, and what makes it "for The Rodgers Theater"? Do they donate to the restoration, or are those plays strictly Stage Company profits?

No.... I mean.. Rodgers Theater, Inc. has designated The Stage Company as the Resident Performing Arts Group. The Stage Company has donated THOUSANDS of dollars toward the repair and upkeep of the building. RTI works with The Stage Company in helping with scheduling of Stage Company productions. Since RTI holds the lease on the building from the county, their designation makes it official. Any other questions?

Yeah. What do you mean the Rodgers Theater "designated" The Stage Company as the Resident Performing Arts Group? I guess that's my question.

The Rodgers Theater Inc. board of directors took a vote and approved a motion to designate The Stage Company, Inc. as the Resident Performing Arts Group.. how hard is that to grasp?

It's only hard to grasp that you are tying The Stage Co. to The Rodgers Theater as if they are as one, as a partnership. Because they aren't. The Stage Co. is nothing more than a group that is renting the theater. They might have an agreement to a time period that they are going to be using the theater, and paying rent, but this whole Official Resident Performing Arts Group thing sounds like a bunch of B.S.. Bottom line, The Rodgers Theater and The Stage Co. are not partners.

It's like that disclaimer at the beginning of tv shows that states:

Well said, and thank God! I agree, Stage Company is bs. Only great show they had was The Wizard of Oz. I was able to take my kids, and they LOVED it. Why now is Stage Company putting on crap? Each time I went to a play there were only like 50 people there. The house was packed for Oz. Get a hint fools!

Who F..cking cares....if you want to go to the plays go..if you don't stay home. Believe it or not everyone does not want to see the "Wizard of Oz" with a bunch of screaming kids. Some people in PB might want a play with content for adults....some people want to go out without being around a bunch of children

You want travelling shows to perform at the Rodgers? Do you realize the money involved to do that? Broadway shows on tour such as those that are performed at the Fox in St. Louis or the Orpheum in Memphis cost big bucks. The ticket prices alone are 60 to 90 dollars each for main floor seating. If you are complaining about $12 for an amateur performance, then I doubt if most people would pay at least $50 or more to see a show on tour. Also, those shows require a much bigger stage than the Rodgers. Your best bet if you want high quality performances is to go to Memphis or St. Louis.

I've been acting with the Stage Company for almost 5 years, and Ron Gilliland is not only an extremely nice man but also cares about the people that he acts with. Any mistakes that possibly were made in the past should not be used to judge him. I would work with Ron any day. :)

I bet you would. Let me guess your a man also? The only thing Ron Gilliland cares about is dope and boys.

You say that people shouldn't judge someone for their mistakes from years ago? Say someone killed someone in your family (not saying Ron did kill anyone) 15 years ago, should they be charged with it now? Or what if someone messed with your son or daughter (not saying Ron did) 15 years ago should they not be charged with now? Just cause it happend years ago don't mean it shouldn't haunt him or them now! You can"t go from doing what he has in his past and expect people to think hes such a wonderful man!

Actually I am a girl. And he hasn't killed anyone and shouldn't be treated as such. We've all made mistakes in the past, some more than others, and if it's not something such as what you said, killing someone or messing with children, he hasn't done that, so why act like he did something as bad as that?

Ron Gilliland has a wife who is a wantg to be counselor. She knows he is gay they have to boy's the were in and out of trouble all the time. Ron also is into smoking the wacky weed. His wife will cast the first stone in judgment of others when her own family is as messed up as they come. Nothing wrong as far as I am concerned about being gay but yes wit him I would watch my teenage son's that are close to turning 18 for sure.

Do u actually know Ron Gilliland? Cause if u did u would know about his past. You would know that he did indeed kill a lady, a lady with a family! And if you know him like you say you do you would know he is very much involved in "young men" I worked with him for many years and I know all about the Gilliland family, wife, sons, daughter in law and grandchildren. They all keep to them self about Mr. Ron Gilliland. He is a addict and will always be a addict! If he didn't shoot meth up that night that poor family wouldn't have had to bury their family member. And his wife Kathy can deny her husband is a drug addict and gay all she wants, but we all know the truth.

If he is all of those things that you say, then his daughter-in-law must be a real piece of shit. Ron always ALWAYS has her kids with him. A little girl, and TWO boys! Makes me wonder if she cares about those kids at all. My boys would NEVER go anywhere with a child molester...grandfather, or not. But, she is a party girl, so she probably doesn't care who watches them. Sad.

Ron has and would never mess with my kids and you are sick for even thinking something liket that!! And to set you strait Ron and CATHIE has my kids on the weekends only and thats not by choice its cause they want to spend time with there grandkids. So before you pop off with something you know nothing about I would check my facts before I open my mouth. And the last time I checked I'm 30 yrs old and I am able to do as I please when I don't have my kids. My kids have never missed a day of school and make perfect grades I must not be that bad of a piece of shit now am I? My daughter has made the A and B honor roll for the past 3 years and my boys do the same! My oldest just got back from STL cause he scored above average on his map test! Now what??? I have my kids 5 nights a week so can you tell me where in your parenting manual does any of this make me a bad mother? Not commenting on this anymore if you want to know me you know where to find me cause if your seeing me partying you must be partying yourself!! Thank you very much Crystal Daley
