I've had several family members go out there to look around and none have ever come back. 7 members of our family and 4 of their friends have all vanished from the face of the earth after supposedly going out there. Be very careful even speaking about that place. I'm only writing this because no one can "hear" what I'm writing and most ghosts from what I've learned can't read because their eyes are rotted out.

I have heard about the church/school christian community being haunted several times. I have never experienced things but someone I know said that she was upstairs and she kept hearing noises so she said, "if someone is there, then show yourself!" She claimed that a pink cloud surrounded her head and she couldn't breath. She wont talk about it anymore and she never went back. I have also heard reports that you can smell someones perfume when your alone and in certain rooms located in the daycare you feel someone touch your back, but nobody was ever there. They say this happens almost every day. Upstairs is supposed to be the scariest, people are sometimes afraid to go up there.

i lived in a house on lester st. that was built in 1883, and you could always hear footstepson the 2nd and 3rd floor. it was also the 1st time i seen a ghost, i walked into the kitchen and there was a man standing there looking out the window and he turned looked me it scared the crap out of me. then a few years later i walked down stairs and seen a blond haired little girl playing in the bedroom. my sister also seen the man but it was on the 3rd floor staircase. i heard someone got an evp sayin "get out of here" there but i dont believe it cuz i never felt threatened there and i lived there for 6 years. i love that house it was beautiful.

hey there my 2nd hubby before he passed away in 2000.at the first christian church and we really did not have much goin on downstairs when we cleaned. we were the janitors for the church for a year, but some weird things even during the daytime with people downstairs happend upstairs. We heard a baby crying twice. And doors would close and sometimes downstairs doors would close. But nothing too much else.

Lexington St. here in the Bluff, about he third house down on the right when you get to the dead end section. That house is haunted as hell... It use to be brown. I seen my first and only ghost there. Three of us saw it at the same time. It was a woman with dark brown hair, bright red lips, and a piercing stare. I'll never forget it. Pictures would fall off the wall. I kid you not we use to hear noises like moaning under the floor. My aunt and uncle started screaming one night they said there was a womanly figure floating over their bed. Then my cousin was talking to someone with red eye's in his closet.. Needless to say they ended up moving.. Alot of people don't believe me or my cousins but we'd all 3 be willing to take a lie detector.

back 10-12 years ago i was in a paint huffing phase. so take this story as u will but one night i was out at the city cemetary off of north main on the hendrickson park side. i passed out for awhile only to be awoke by the sounds of a mass mob crying, screaming, running through the woods. i thought i was caught so i rushed outta there. as i left i looked back but saw nothing. i still get goosebumps to this day thinking about that. one of my buddys told me years later that that area was supposedly haunted by the sounds of screaming. dont know if thats true or not but i know what i heard and felt was

Hello everyone, I have been living in Poplar Bluff for a few years now and I keep hearing about these haunted places. One in particular.... The railroad tracks out on Wilcox Road. I have tempted to go out there but, I always chicken out. Has anyone else been there and experienced anything?

I've got a story about Wilcox that will blow your mind.

So here it is, it was 8oclock on a Saturday A i had just went to church with my friend roy and I live by Wilcox so I had to be home at nine. Any way we pull in on the tracks turn off our car and sit there. Our windows fog up nothing but pitch blackness outside. Crows caw in the distance thirty shaky minutes go bye. And I look at my friend and say let's just go this is stupid we shouldnt have come here it's not real anyway.. Ten seconds later I'm starting my car and I see a light at the end of the tracks. Wait theese tracks are canceled I'm thinking this is a fucking ghost train it'll pass right through us. So I sit there train getting closer and closer till roy turns the car on and tells me to floor it. We get off the tracks as the train roars by. I got the whole thing on my phone and now were both terrified because we may have one of the best prices of ghost existing of all time. The trip home is terrifying every shadow turns into an obleak fgure and scares the shit out of me. When I get to bed I can't sleep I'm afraid it was all a dream any way. So I called and told the story to my girlfriend of the time, that calmed me down a little bit but i didn't sleep at all that night, I thought the video would have been gone had I went to sleep plus I couldn't wait to show the school. So I wake up and go to school and I'm in the middle of the hall way showing my girlfriend this video. When a guy walks up and tells me he lives on willcox and a scheduled train runs out there at twelve every Saturday, I never told him when the video was taken he just said the only train that went out there still. Man I felt retarded but then again I thought had roy not told me to get off those tracks precisely when he did. Then id be the one haunting new comers to willcox railroad I would have died that night even though we both thought it was a ghost we got off the track and lived, use this as a warning don't sit on those tracks if u see a train get the fuck off. Peace

Me and a couple friends went out there 2 nights ago for the 3rd time. It just so happened to be exactly 3:00 when we pulled up. Right before we went over the tracks we didn't see a train coming so we drove over the tracks and right when we drove over the tracks a train hauled ass past us. When we turned around the train was gone and the tracks were ice cold. We went back last night around 12 and as we walked down the tracks towards the bridge all 4 of us got pushed off the tracks at the same time while hearing a woman scream YOU KILLED HER!!
