What happened about Carl that was killed at Wolf Creek? Someone backed over him and they never did say who did it. Was that ever solved?
No. Speculation, but no witnesses came forward.

Ronnie was a diabetic. He was driving home and had problems with his blood sugar. He did have a wreck and died. God bless.
I was just reading through these threads and was shocked to see my dad on here. Yes he was driving and had a diabetic episode and his car ran off of the road. It was right at the edge of a bridge. The car actually jumped the water and slamed him into the embankment on the other side. Killing him instantly. the news was a shock to all of us. I miss him all the time. Thank you for remembering him.

she was smothered to death by her husband Steve Sells, the owner of the PB McDonalds, never brought to justice!
OH MY GOSH... are you freaking kidding me??? Steve Sells had nothing to do with her death. What on this earth do you for one second think would make him do something like that? That is the mother of their two beautiful little girls. Who by the way are old enough to read this web site. Maybe you should think how they would feel to read such crap about their dad. I'm sure the last thing he would have ever wanted would be for his little girls to grow up without a mother. Whoever you are, you are rediculous

<quoted text>This is such a scary thing for me!! I think about it daily..I have a son who just turned 17 and a daughter who just turned 14..the fact that he is now driving,(and really isn't that great at it) scares the hell outta me...because of course, she is always with he is now her taxi service lol...seriously just scares the hell out of many needless accidents and lives lost to carelessness.
I was still a junior in high school when Shannon was killed. I got the call that night and found out she was either following or in front of her boyfriend. I am pretty sure it happened around Broseley. The next morning I called one of my best friends who I knew was a very close friend of hers who literally grew up with her, to check on her thinking she knew because I knew she had been called the night before. Anyway, she wasn't told because of the time and when I spoke to her I am the one who had to break the news to her. I will never forget that as long as I live. That is the hardest thing to do when you don't know that you are doing the notifying. Anyway, it was a very sad story and it is hard to believe she has been gone 20 years.

Robert "Bob" Hendrickson not sure what class but he just had his class reunion in Sept. Probably Class of '52. He fell ill after the reunion and died 2 weeks ago from Pancreatic cancer that had spread to his liver. This was my uncle and I will miss him so much.

I didn't know about Brian Jenkins. What happened to him and when?
Brian committed suicide. Shortly thereafter is when Nikki Slicer committed suicide. Not going to go into detail about any of this but they were way to young.

Did Scott die? I thought he was just brain damaged?
He was terribly brain damaged and lived (with his family's help) for some time in relative comfort. Then later passed. I have to give credit (especially to his sister) who was so devoted during that time.

christina persons and brad beard are cousins of mine. i was so glad to see that people still remember them after all these years. both of their deaths came as a total shock to our entire family. they will always be loved and truely missed. thanks again for the kind words that have been said. as for this site.... everyone has their own opinions about different things but as a family of a deceased loved one, it lifts our hearts and souls to see that someone cares enough about someone to remember them after so many years. each and every one of our circumstances in life are different and we all struggle from time to time but to see this site just makes one smile about the words that have been said. no one should be downing this site. it is a heart-lifting site. unlike some of the other subjects here on topix.

It still seems rather odd that such a beautiful woman with two small children would take her own life. I often wonder if there was more, but time has came and went and nothing will bring her back.

I've been gone a long, long time from home. It's shocking the names I have read. I do know that David O'Dell passed away from a brain tumor, Mary Drury, car wreck, Doug Wood, car wreck. Didn't David Salyer pass away in 1978?

Does anybody have info on the following people I knew?
. Janet Kysar '76
. Rhonda King '74
. Richard McBride '77
. Dee Dee Lawson '75
. Norman Hite - he seemed so STRAIGHT! What did he OD on?'76
. Brenda Robinson, class of 76
. Kenny Landreth '77
. Roger Greer (Heather's dad) was a friend of mine.. I feel so sorry for him! Does anybody know what he's up to?
. This Sells person - how old is he? Who was his wife? I'm asking because I knew a girl who was engaged to a Sells, and I hope it's not her!
