Are they just as expensive as Asylum Ink? To me a $70 minimum is ridiculous in a town like Poplar Bluff, when you can go to a big city and get a much smaller minimum. Just askin...

Just like the name it's for the poor man. The minimum is only $40. The artist are Nacho, Steve, Josh Beckham, and JoAnna..

You can also stop by the shop to make an appointment, or talk to the artists.

Not a tattoo place in general, but one that does good work but it doesnt cost you a nut to get it. That IS needed in PB! As far as where downtown, the post office is on Poplar Street. The next street (behind the post office) is Cedar. You will make a turn there and they are the first building past the back of the post office. Isnt really hard to find.

I hear Mike Z owns this place...is this true?

I got some piercing work done by Nacho. He was more than professional. After care was clearly explained and I have had no problems with my piercings. The price was right, too! Only $25.oo with jewelry included. I highly recommend the place. My husband got a tat the same night. It was an eight ball with flames. It looks clean and well done. It was only $40.00. You can't beat the price and the work is high quality.

well ok here we go about pricing on tattoos everyone wants amazing work for nothing don't know the new poor mans ink not downing them havn't seen their work but i personally know asylum ink and know the work i actually worked with jay and casey two great guys 70 bucks is extremely cheap for most bigger cities in any reputable shop you will pay at least 100 bucks for a tattoo like i said before if the work is amazing at poor mans ink then thats great but always look at the different styles and placement. also how does the artist contrast his or her colors i've seen some tattoos from horrible "artists" if you wanna call them that that the unknowing possibly and most likely mentally handicapped individual said looked like it came from miami ink. so i urge the customers to look at previous tattoos and also portfolios and also watch the artist doing a tattoo he or she as long as customer doesn't mind then the artist should be proud to show you. conclusion just use common freaking sense when making a choice not your budget.

I could not agree with you more... I am originally from PB, but now live in St. Charles. and well, forty dollars as a minimum...?! no way in hell would i go there.
if u want a good tattoo, a great tattoo, then u pay for it... seventy just to sit in the chair if not 100 to sit in the chair... most place u have to pay just to have the appointment... and i have paid outrageous prices for tats but like i said...u pay for what u get. u want a forty dollar tat? awesome. it will more than likely look like hell, it will probably be rushed too.
i know casey really well a A Ink he doesnt drink, or do any drugs, he is focused and extremely professional, his work is absolutely breathetaking...id rather pay big bucks and love my tattoo then pay forty and regret it
