I think Brian needs to pick up his toys and go play somewhere else. All he does is cry because he cant make any money from the stupid city cable. Go sell your shit and live with your grandma brian, no one cares.

People signed because everyone is soured on government.

Most were idiots, some were misinformed and the rest had an agenda.

Brian is alright he just got use to making a windfall piggy backed to the city cable. When he was asked to pay as he used band width he saw that he was going to lose money ( well not lose but make less)

Refused to pay ran up a bill then the city cut him off. Lost in court then decided to try and pack the council or get a ordinance passed that would have favored his company at the expense of the users of the city utilities.

Now it will be explained how this was government that is going against the will of the people. But really who is benifiting?

Oh yeah this was going to open up the Internet for everyone! Do you have Internet? Is there anywhere you cannot go right now?

Both sides are doing what they think is right....maybe....one might be considering his personal finances .....

I think it's bullshit the city throw out my vote!!!!! But they accepted my voting registration but not my vote. It should be harder to sign up to vote. Not throw you vote out cause they want to. Dear Brian if there is anyway I can sue the city for throwing out my vote plz tell me how I hate M.U. They are a legal monopoly!!!

Johnny at m.u. Needs to be fired I've seen that man make people pay bills that weren't theirs I've seen him tell seniors to pay their bills that buying medicine wasn't as important as having electric just a matter of time before his corrupted ass goes to jail. Yes Johnny your days are numbered.

You guys need to realize that becker has a point. For the same cost you can get almost 4 times faster internet in Cape or St Louis. Our city even has a D- rating for the fastest and most expensive internet package! The city should be able to monopolize our internet. Feels like socialism to me...

was it any faster when brian had his little scheme going? no, it was slower. only AFTER the city closed the doors to leeches like semo did the price go down and the speeds go up. seems pretty obvious.

The judge threw out all of Brian's claims, the only thing they are deciding now is whether Brian owes the city over a hundred thousand dollars. His only hope now is to get more new councilmen or get a petition before the city.

It wasnt any faster because City Cable was the one giving him an "Internet Allowance". It was only slower because the city wouldn't let it be faster. The prices never went down either, and the speeds only slightly increased. That other guy has a point too, more people signed that petition than have ever voted in Poplar Bluff.
Poplar Bluff has some of the worst internet in the state when it is perfectly capable of having some of the best.
