Has anyone been to the new movie rental place in town? They opened at four today and they are by far the best rental place in town! They have an awesome free movie rental kids corner! There is like 150 ACTUALLY GOOD cartoons there! They have free exercise dvd rental! Free sports rental. Their new releases have great prices. There nearly new releases are a buck for five nights! Their older movies are 2 for a dollar for 5 nights! Their series are $3 for the whole series for 5 nights! They are just awesome! I already love them! They are on the corner of 10th and Vine, right next to Tan N Time where the old Movie Gallery was! They also have PS3 and Wii games and even rent a Wii Console. Anyway, I love movies and just thought they were very awesome and wanted to share the experience with ALL!:)

Just a mom with two kids. I just think it is pretty awesome they have the free movies for the kids. None of our other movie places do anything like it. I think it's an awesome place to go if you have kids. And there other good deals are just a bonus. I was just really surprised at the good deals. Do not be a buzz kill guest. Just want to share the good deals with everyone. That store is not exactly in a prime location so unless you know about it then prob would not go there. And I have not seen any advertising for it. I was just tanning and decided to check it out while I was waiting on my husband to finish. It just really suprised me!

What is a nearly new release ? How much are NEW releases ? How much are game rentals ? do they have anything like the power play ? If you are a customer why are you excited ? Why also if you are a customer do you carefully use wording like NEARLY NEW?

Just my opinion, I stopped in there to see who the employees are. Because if it was the same staff that Movie Gallery had, I wasn't going to rent. But I did see a familiar face from Hollywood Video, Donna will do the new store good. Her crew was the best in town. I hope to see others from Hollywood Video like Dale his love of taking care of people needs is great. Even the other that worked at Hollywood was always real nice to my family and I. I will have to rent one day to see if it is worth my time. thx The Young Family

I like RedBox, & love being able to reserve movies from my iPhone, but the selection truly sucks. I'll give the new place a look.

The Nearly New are those that are not new releases, but are, obviously, still fairly new. New releases are $2 for 1 night,$2.50 for 5. A lot of the others movies are $1, and as someone else said, lots of free movies. They are also having a promotion right now that if you sign up, you get half price movies for 30 days. We signed up the other day and 7 movies for less than $4. That's a pretty good deal.

Oh, and they do have an adult movie room. Not my cup of tea, but at least they aren't on the shelves for everyone to see.

Instead of griping and questioning other people's motives, why don't you go check them out yourselves. They will give you a tour and you can then decide if you want to join or not.

Just FYI--They didnt just shut movie gallery down--The company has gone bankrupt--They are in the process of liquidating all of their stores including Hollywood video.

And remember, if you know anyone pre-school through college that has any "A"s on their report cards, through the month of June they can get a free rental for each one.

You said it yourself, A free kids movie with EVERY RENTAL OF A NEW RELEASE. The kids movies at Family Video are free every day with no catch.
