One is an elected official that has no day to day control over EMA. One is a county employee that is in charge of EMA and is appointed by the county commission. Lloyd was a EMA director, not a commissioner.

If he had done his job the way it was supposed to be done especially with that pay scale this would not have been necessary.

So, if he was an elected official, what were his duties? And do we still have a director and if not, why not?

Geez. EMA director is an appointed position. County commissioners are elected. Lloyd Miler was an EMA director. Yes we have no EMA director because he didn't do his freakin job and got called on it and finally resigned.

Ok, so Mr. Miler and Mr. Sliger had the same title, which is Dirctor? Thanks. Like I said before, this is interesting. You could possibly need to check your bp, because you seem to have a type A personality.

When one cannot comprehend the difference after being told 3 times it tends to bring out the type A personality. What's so "interesting" if I may ask.

lol. It does get a bit confusing for us little ole grannies sometimes. Once I learn something though, I don't forget it. I might ask questions to learn more and believe me I always do. I find Topix interesting and especially those who think they are God's gift to humanity. But then, we all know differently, don't we? Right now, I'm finding you interesting. Watch that bp and temper. Perhaps you should take up smoking again. Better from the lips and nose than from the ears.

So what you gonna do? Make a book or something? Or better yet, take it with you when you appear before Congress? Hey, I got it. Make a tv sitcom.
