If you think you're tired of "this mess" as you put it, how do you think her family feels? Do you think they really care if the person who abducted her is black, white, red, yellow or any other color? Get real for God's sake, this is not a racial issue!! This is a little 5 year old girl who may not get to grow up to enjoy the freedom of choosing life over death. If a black man or white man took her, that is NOT the issue here. I'd be very surprised if McNeil hasn't given LE the details of what he did with Shaniya. He likely passed her off to someone who was waiting at the hotel. My bet is on the Momma having orchestrated this abduction so she would not have to return the child to the bio father. Clearly if conditions in the trailer were as bad as have been indicated she must have been in fear of losing custody. I read or heard that the FBI are now involved which would indicate to me that LE believes she may have been transported over state lines. They need to look at the mom's family and friends.

For some reason, I feel like the mother has a crack addiction. She had S.S invloved already. I really don't feel like she planned this. But, I agree...her father should get custody of this lil girl...you can see the love in his eyes..and his pain. God help him.

I want to believe she is safe but the blanket covered in faeces has me concerned. The way it was described I don't think it was just dirty from the sewerage probs. That little girl voided her bowels either from fear and shock or because she was deceased. At least that is my fear.

Mother says she last saw Shaniya at 5:30 am - video footage places her at hotel 40 miles away at 6:11 am. Perp had 41 minutes to sneak in, abduct child, drive 40 miles and enter hotel. Looks to me like mother is lying.
I can find no information that McNeill checked into hotel. Clerk only reports seeing him with child. Very possible he was meeting someone at the hotel for a hand-off.
Police claim 1- when they arrived, he was gone, and 2 -he only stayed for one hour. What does that mean? Did it take them one hour to respond to the call? Or do they also have video footage of him leaving the hotel?
McNeill is ex-boyfriend of mother's sister. Police were called to the trailer just a few months ago at which time they found a variety of drugs. I think it very possible that mom and friends conspired to sell this child.

its just too horrible. the feces on the blanket -- from days previous, suggest she had been sodomized already. her mom was probably renting her out regularly. and this guy who carried her in the hotel maybe didn't even mean or expect to kill her, but likely did so with drugs and/or sexual trauma.

I was wrong apparently re-garding the mother. As a mom who would die to protect her children, I have a hard time accepting someone could do this to their own precious child. Put her in the same catagory as Casey Anthony....trash.
I can't help crying thinking what this poor baby went through...or how there are people that call themselves humans. I want to give someone a left and a right so bad.
