Get to the grocery store now! Pick up milk and bread. Why, you ask? I have no clue, but it's what we are supposed to do, right? LOL

I was out last night coming home when it started, and they hadn't done shit. At 3am no salt on any bridges or roads. The police county and troopers were everywhere cause the roads were so slick. They started their job around 5 and now look how bad the roads are. Slackers, knew days ahead we may have a chance at this and they waited till it hit to do their damn job.

Yeah I got fired from the Waffle House. You wanna know why? Stealing milk, bread, and eggs for the blizzard. LOL

By the way, you have an odd name. Are you on drugs?

Peace.

MDOT did not have "all hands on deck"
yesterday or today. We need to all call our North MS Transportation Commissioner and complain. He is not taking care of business. MDOT always leaves Alcorn County in a bad way when winter storms occur. When traveling south from TN to MS, it is apparent when you hit the state line that you are taking your life in your hands. Another question...did the city prepare our streets for this winter weather? I saw a post on Facebook quipping that the only salt available in Alcorn County was table salt! Can I get an amen?

There was no more bread or milk left in any of the stores. So what happened when we lost power for hours at a time? Don't get all crazy and fill your fridge folks as it's quite possible that will be money down the drain. You are not supposed to refreeze your frozen goods (meat). That is actually quite a laugh since most the stores do exactly that before we buy and then we stick it in the freeze again.

No need to fear .. eggs aren't as bad for us as once claimed either.

Talk about DOT's though .. what a joke all too many of them are across our lands. They still get paid handsomely while 'our' boss doesn't pay us because we couldn't get to work due to their poor performance. Grrrrr
